The Cliffs Edge Retreat is a must-stay! The views are amazing. The hot tub is the perfect place to relax after a day of hiking. We could sit on the deck looking at the views and listening to the ocean for hours. The cabin was very clean and had all necessities. Staff was very quick to respond to any questions or concerns. We would 100% stay again.

The issues we had with our stay were Expedia’s fault. The room in the pictures when we booked were NOT the same as what we got. Be sure to clarify your room view before you pay. We had a view of the propane tanks. The hotel has no amenities itself, like a lobby, and you entered through a restaurant. Just a terrible letdown.

My husband and I stayed at the Cliffs Edge Resort for a single night. It was located in a secluded, and peaceful area on the coast with a great view. The room was stunning, with large windows overlooking the water. It was also stocked well, and I appreciated the attention to detail. It was like being at home, but with the amazing view. Everything we could possibly need to make our stay comfortable was made available right in the room. The Forage restaurant was nice but we found the pricing to be a little expensive given such a small menu. There were only two mains to choose from. It was the most expensive dinner bill during our one week tour of the Avalon. Otherwise we are happy with the stay, just wished the restaurant wasn’t so expensive provided we didn’t have too many other options for dining nearby.

Loved the stay!

Absolutely beautiful and modern hotel by the water. It was a little confusing for check-in but you do get an email wih instructions that tell you what to do through a specified link (that does take a long time to load but it works). Most of check-in can be done without a person at front desk which is pretty convenient. The property is quite large depending on where you'll be staying. We had a private balcony (with a BBQ if you want to make your own food) facing the water. The Forager restaurant is amazing - the food was top notch and it's farm to table, very high quality. The room itself was large and spacious with a kitchenette, fireplace, and a small sitting area/living room. The bathroom is also very modern - everything was just beautiful. Wish we stayed an extra night and what we saw from the guest book, people want to stay a minimum of 2 nights - you definitely have to!

Pleasant staff, sent check details a day ahead of arrival. Room was fabulous, with king bed, quality linens, dinning area, seating area over looking the sea from a huge window. Balcony with bbq and muskoka chairs outside, use of a sauna overlooking the sea and coast. The Forage restaurant attached has a great vibe, excellent food and staff are very pleasant, highly recommend.

I booked a mother-daughter retreat and we enjoyed every minute…despite the April snow. The view from our cabin was spectacular and mesmerizing. The bedrooms were large and I don’t know where the pillows are from but they are simply the best. The kitchen is well stocked if you want to cook and next time I will try the bar-b-q. The hot tub and sauna were brand new. It was simply perfect. We had a gourmet supper in the restaurant.
