The host was really great from start to finish! The cabin was meticulously clean and inviting. The cupboards were well stocked with every kind of glasses and cups, utensils, dinnerware and cookware. It was a pretty cabin with plenty of porches and a screened in area that would be great in the spring and summer. It was also convenient to everything. We enjoyed our stay!

Very clean and kitchen supplied with plenty of cooking equipment and dishware. Loved the gas log and porch. Layout of cabin was a bit awkward as you have to walk through master bedroom and bathroom to get to second bathroom, but it worked ok for us. Our stay did not include a winery experience.

Peaceful vacation we needed

We stayed for a week in this cozy cabin. Easy entrance into the Smoky Mountain National Park, with very little traffic. The host’s attention to detail was perfect and made for a relaxing vacation. The cabin was close to really great restaurants and grocery stores. Highlight was watching bears walk by the cabin in the evening. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

Mountain Dreams was a Dream

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Mountain Dreams! The place was super clean, and had all the amenities we needed. We also loved all the extra touches! Location was perfect - very easy to get to. We had no problem driving the hill with a minivan, and we were able to turn around in the driveway and parking space with no problem. The layout is a little different, but it wasn’t an issue going through the bathroom to get to the second bedroom since it was just my son and I. The full size washer and dryer were great! We also loved sitting on the porch in the rockers, and the sofa and recliner were super comfy! We would LOVE to stay here again whenever we’re in Townsend!

Back for a second year

This was our second visit to Mountain Rest and I’m in the process of making another reservation for next year. It may be the cleanest place we have ever rented and it’s situated nicely in the woods.

Wonderful vacation

We had a wonderful time exploring SMNP and the surrounding area. The cabin was in the perfect, quiet location. It was clean and the kitchen well stocked with dishes and cookware. We appreciated the refrigerator filtered water and ice maker. We enjoyed sitting in the rockers on the porch each night. The only inconvience with a party of 4, is you need to walk through the king bedroom and bath to access the other bedroom and bath unless you went outside and used the outdoor access to the second bath. We had to bring the rocker from the bedroom into the living room to have seating for 4. Those inconveniences did not take away from a wonder getaway.

Truly a Mountain Dream!

This cabin is SO cozy and beautifully maintained! The owners and manager are so very friendly and accommodating, ready to help in any way if they are needed (even though we had no issues). Such a great week!

Uncomfortable

The cabins deck was nice. We could not get comfortable watching TV as it’s up so high our necks hurt. We both had some kind of allergic reaction inside the cabin. Not sure why? Left a day early so we could relax comfortably at home. Also manager accused us for bringing a dog over 20lbs when she already said it was fine upon inquiry. Will not rent from her again and would not recommend this cabin if your older and need comfort.
