We stayed after Christmas and through New Year’s eve. Our stay coincided with a bad winter storm and high wind warning! Luckily, the space provided us warmth and safety. Upon arrival, we noticed a few broken things which we immediately alerted the owner about. Although there was no body wash/soap in the shower, there was conditioner and hand soap at the sink. The one thing that was slightly alarming was finding a press-on nail on the floor behind the bathroom door. This made it seem as though the place had not been cleaned thoroughly. Other than that, the decor was pretty, the space was airy, and it was fairly comfortable. Guest who enjoy a memory foam mattress that runs on the firm side will love the bedroom bed. Otherwise, if you prefer something softer, (I have bad hips) you might enjoy the sofa bed in the living room. The owner was quick to communicate, which I greatly appreciated. Especially since we had to cut our stay short by one day due to a family emergency back home. Even though the price was high, once you factor in the cleaning fee and the VRBO fee, it was a fairly pleasant stay.

Mixed review. The condo was beautiful and updated and we enjoyed the beach. The cons: hard mattess in bedroom- felt like a concrete block, pull out couch was terrible- felt like sleeping on metal rods. Trash bin was still full and I had to finish a load of towels left in the washer when we arrived.

Great location in Traverse City. We enjoyed walking the beach, relaxing on the deck and easy access to area activities. We loved all the small towns in the area. Shower could use an update, but that would be my only constructive point. Everything else was comfortable and well maintained.

Amazing stay

Our March stay was amazing! This place was immaculate with airy coastal decor. Kitchen appliances worked very well, dishwasher was quiet. The kitchen was well stocked with nice dishes, cookware, and so much more! We really liked the balcony view, although it was too cold to swim. We look forward to staying there again!

Clean, well stocked unit with great view

We had a great weekend stay here. The unit was spotless and very well equipped with everything needed. One of the best outfitted VRBO’s we’ve ever had. View was super and location is very convenient. Road noise and dirty common areas were only issue preventing a 5 star rating.

Great setting

There is little that tops the view of the bay from this living room. Access to the peninsulas, downtown, and of course the miracle mile is exceptional. The hosts are very attentive and anxious to please -- with suggestions for restaurants, etc.

Great but noisy

The condo is nice and the view of Lake Michigan is great. Very nice location right on the beach. The bedroom is located near the parking lot and a very busy highway with a traffic light near the condo. The property manager provided a noise machine which helped a little but it was very difficult to sleep hearing semi trucks stopping and starting all night long. Possibly new windows or light and noise blocking blinds would help? The property manager was great and I wish I had all stars for the review but I got very little sleep on my “relaxing “ vacation.

We had a great time!!

This condo was wonderful. You will find plenty of everything you need including q tips, tissues, shampoo, body wash, lotions, hand soap, even razors and shaving cream! If you forget something chances are they have it there for you! The brand they have for most products is Public Goods which is one of my favorite brands. There is a sound machine that we found helpful for drowning out the road noise. And the view is gorgeous! We had a great stay.

Wow! Just Wow

The title was one of our adult 30 + age children's response to our first photo of this Beautiful venue's water view upon a sunset arrival. Wow ... and then ... Just Wow. We couldn't agree more. Cleanliness gets an Exceeds. Tasteful Stylish Interior meets Attention to Detail for a Lovely First Impression. I will be sharing this VRBO with family and friends. A perfect surprise

"All that is gold does not glitter." Gandalf's words echo as we climb the well-worn, weather beaten stairs of The Beach, wondering what we just booked, as the constant waves of traffic drown out those on the other side of the building. And then we open the door to the Vrbo and everything changes; quiet, spotless, modern, with the welcome of The Bay right outside the sliding glass doors. The hosts have not forgotten a single detail, from the L,A,K,E initial mugs to the soundbar by the bed. You truly open the door to a different place; a secret hideaway close to everything from fine dining to lakeside hikes to downtown shopping. Nicely done.

Five Stars

Five stars well deserved for tihs property. House was very clean and stocked with personal products as well as everything necessary in a kitchen to cook for a family of five. Plenty of toilet paper too which is an essential with 3 daughters. Location was perfect for our family and the beach was outstanding. Grand Traverse Bay is a clean place to swim and we took advantage of the boat rental right on the beach. Did I mention the view? Can't beat it.

Great condo & was very clean, well kept. but the maintenance of the pool area & beach was not great. Hot tub broke & didn’t seem like the pool filter was working daily, definitely got dirty.
