Though the building the unit was in was a little bit older looking, it was clear the owner took detail and care in renovating the rooms. The unit had everything we needed for a weekend trip. We appreciated the level of cleanliness and the thoughtful detail and organization of the room. The only downside we experienced was being able to hear our neighbors frequently throughout the night, but overall it was not that bad and I think just the result of an older building with not much soundproofing. But the unit itself was spotless, the kitchenette had everything we could need for a quick stay, the bathroom had good quality towels, and the host was responsive and accommodating. And the price was right for us as well! Located steps away from the Delamar where we had a wedding.
Entrance looks like âA No tell motelâ there was an abandoned birdâs nest over the door. Nesting materials scattered all over the ground around the door. Carpet in the hallway is old and very dirty and decrepit. The small apartment was cute and no frills but nicely painted and very clean. Simple. Kitchen had 2 knives,2forks and 2 spoons. No hot plate. But there is a microwave. The bathroom is brand new. Unfortunately the walls in this room are paper thin. You can hear everything and I mean, everything.
The host was great and this property was described accurately. It is small, but met our needs perfectly. We wanted to experience all downtown had to offer and this location is PERFECT! We walked everywhere. We would recommend the host and the property to anyone who is making a visit to Traverse City.
My husband and I stayed at this property for a weekend 25th anniversary getaway. The location was perfect! It was within walking distance of shops, restaurants, the beach, and trails. It was a super cute little apartment - clean and decorated well too. We would definitely stay there again!
Originalky concern about complaints of noise but did not find it to be disturbing. Difficulty with lock had a quick response . Will definitely stay again when in area.
The location was great! Just a short walk to everything you would want to do downtown. Clean, hotel style rooms. The walls were a little thin between rooms so you could hear everything! Thankfully I didnât have the room to just hang out in so it worked out fine and everyone was respectful at night.
Small but nice, clean room in a great location. Right on Front street. Walking distance to the main drag. Loved that each unit has its own dedicated parking space. That was a pleasant surprise that helps ease any stress.
From the minute we pulled up it was kind of sketchy. The information received said if someone was parked in your space just park somewhere else? Which we did. All rooms are upstairs and the hallway carpet was frayed, terribly stained and smelled. The locks on the doors (we had 3 rooms) would not lock. I messaged management and was told "you have to play with them to make them work...really? So we will not be back and would not recommend this place....ever! There are lots of great places in Traverse City for the same price (which was not cheap)......find one!
We enjoyed our stay. The highlight of this property is the location. It is right on Front St. The unit was VERY clean and beautifully updated and decorated. It was very small and you can't tell from the photos quite how small it is. Also, the room was quite humid - our clothes were damp when we unpacked our suitcase at home. Overall, it is a great spot if you want to be walking distance to downtown and the price is very reasonable.
Outside halls a little smelly and dirty, but for the price and location. The place was really cute inside. We did have trouble getting in the room at first. I would totally stay again.
