Really sweet accommodation! We stayed here after a full day out at Longleat safari park with the kids which was just 20mins away & very easy to get to. Kids were very excited to be overlooking the field with the wonderful big window which allowed us to see lots of deers running & playing in the morning, pheasants, and the nearby farms cows. We also visited during the Longleat 'icons of the sky' event and were fortunate to see all the hot air balloons floating across the field too from the Annex in the morning (which we'd actually missed the day before due to bad weather).
We had a lovely stay, it was exactly what we were looking for, and had everything we needed. Also had a great brunch 10mins away at a local garden center.
My family and I had a wonderful night in this cottage â everything was perfect. Itâs clear that a lot of thought has gone into every detail. Because of my job I travel a lot and stay in many places, but Iâve never seen a property quite like this.
Jill was a fantastic host who allowed us to check in early rather than take our car full of luggage into Bath for the day. The accomodation was delightful, everything we needed, my only regret, not staying longer!
My son and I used this as headquarters to visit some historic sites and relax before long travel home to US. It was a tight space but fully equipped and adequate for everything we needed. Nice hiking trails right outside the door. Beautiful setting. Owners were very nice and accommodating.
Quick flying visit and only a 1-night stay but perfect because the party we were attending was at The Longs Arms in Steeple Ashton and we walked there. Couldnât have been much closer or more convenient. âCompact and bijouâ (and not for really tall people đ€Ł!) but spotlessly clean, well supplied and a very clever use of space.
The Annex is a very cosy space. A great view over the fields, the comfy couch in the afternoon sun, and the sound of silence all around was a real tonic. I would certainly go to The Annex again :)
