The house itself was great. Loved that it had a lot of bedrooms with their own bathrooms and the bottom floor with arcade games and pool table was awesome. Kitchen was well stocked with supplies. Communication with manager was slow and disappointing. When one of our party arrived, the driveway was completely unplowed and they had to use shovels to clear the driveway. Then the door code did not work. When I called the phone number, it was not in service, but a message indicated a new number to use which finally got through to someone to help us open the door. When I tried the chat feature, it said something was wrong with Vacasa and it was not able to help. When we left, a party left something behind and when I messaged to ask if anyone had found it and could leave it outside for pickup, I got four stock messages not addressing my question. Like I said, beautiful property, well stocked (although manager said NO salt pepper or oil would be there so we had to buy some and lo and behold, there was some in the pantry), but incredibly bad communication in a stressful situation (closed highways, winter snowstorm, kids waiting in cars). Received no check out instructions so we did what we could (I guess thatâs a plus?). Maybe a summer experience is less stressful.
