As frequent VRBO users we normally don't book listings with no reviews, but decided to take a chance on this one because 1) the trip was last-minute and 2) the management company has a long VRBO history. I'm happy to say it worked out pretty well for our family of 5 including two teen daughters and pre-teen son.
This unit was well-appointed, included everything the listing said it would, and matches the 5-star experience of the rest of Northstar Village. Location can't be beat and we had access to the village fitness center including pool, hot tubs, gym and game room.
Only issue we encountered: while A/C worked well at first, coming into the busy weekend it failed to continue blowing cold air in the main living area (still worked fine in bedrooms). We reported it to management and they were very responsive; even had a maintenance person out within 2 hours. It turned out the entire building was having issues keeping up with cooling demands as it was unseasonably hot during our stay. Not docking a star for something outside the control of this unit's manager, but just something for prospective renters to know if they plan on staying during peak dates in hot weather.
Other tips for renters: bring nighttime eye covering as light shines brightly between closed blinds in the morning, and plan to bring extra toilet paper (unit includes only 2 rolls per bathroom which didn't cut it for our family of 5). Overall we loved the unit and would rent it again.
