Very friendly staff. Great value for money. Traffic noisy due to location but this is not a criticism, but earplugs may be useful if you are not used to city living and rush hr noise in the morning.
Property is old, creaky and charming with good facilities.
It was such a lovely little place to find in Truro and was greeted by a very kind lady who walked me to my room, asked me how my journey was and explained everything I needed. It was as simple as needing to remember to take a set of keys with me when I left. The bedroom was immaculate with fresh linen, two bedside tables with lamps, chairs with a little table and a decent tv! The bed was so comfortable to sleep on and I slept better than I thought! There was little chocolates and fresh towels whenever I came back after a long day. The only few downsides were that the shower spray strength was a bit weak and the hotel is at the top of the hill but for my first time in Cornwall, it was absolutely brilliant to see the town (including the amazing cathedral) from my bedroom window!
