We had another hotel and the pool was out of commission. We booked a room here just an hour before arriving and they even allowed us to check in early so we could get to the long-awaited pool time. The pool was beautiful and great for the kids, as well as my husband and I. We found our way around town to different activities for kids (there is a children's museum, ghost tours, museums, and history tours all within a short walk). LOTS of food and coffee shops as well. And you MUST try La Estrella's bakery, which is connected just out the front door. The donuts were incredible. We regret not trying them until our last day. And I believe the breakfast bar was superior to any other free breakfast bar we have encountered (probably why we took so long to find our way into the bakery hehe).

First time in Tucson, from Boston. We would choose this hotel again if we come back. Welcoming staff, great location to see the downtown area, we could walk to all the major landmarks, to restaurants and even to the free trolley to the University of Arizona campus. The hotel was quiet and clean, and we really appreciated the breakfast buffet included in the price. No complaints.

Weekend stay with 3 teenagers

Great place with plenty of room for us and our 3 teenage boys. Convenient parking and friendly staff. Good free breakfast with plenty of room for everyone to get their food and sit and eat. My teenagers eat a lot so this was perfect for them. And the little convenience store so they could get a microwave burrito at midnight. Only two small hiccups that kept me from giving it a full 5 stars. The mattress pad on the sofa bed looked like it hadn't been changed. And we asked for more pillows but never received them. Other than that everything was great!

This is an excellent hotel for downtown Tucson! It’s pet friendly, which was a huge bonus for us! It was very clean and the breakfast every morning was wonderful. The staff is exceptional and the accessibility to all the downtown restaurants was perfect!

Very nice hotel but being located downtown, they didn't make parking very easy. I paid $20 for the parking garage. The staff told me I could use the street meter parking but being there overnight I would have to keep adding time since the max was 6 hours.
