It was OK! We were able to get check in quick. The rooms were clean and what we expected for the cost. We were not looking for anything fancy as we just needed a place to sleep for the night as we traveled from FL to MI.
No lobby, no coffee. Although they were going through a storage room and I asked if they happened to have a coffee pot, the maintenance guy found me one.
Bed ok. Place pretty clean but in need of updating. You get what you pay for
Office area is locked and closed off for lounge and breakfast. The room had filthy walls, bathroom toilet was loose and rocked when in use, the beds have partial metals sticking out from the sides and very dangerous. The door has a huge gap in the bottom, beds had only one sheet and a light blanket no comforter.
The toilet was loose, not bolted to the floor. The power went out, the front desk didnât answer the phone. There was construction in the room above us, we heard drills and saws all night.
Check in by clerk behind glass in a relatively safe area off of the Interstate. Room clean and well furnished versus other Super 8's. Some tobacco odor, and I had requested a non smoking unit. Noise from walking on 2nd floor hallway above. I guess for what I paid it was okay.
This is not the typical "cheapy" motel. While not ultra-luxurious, everything about it was comfortable and pleasant. Great bed! Quiet, efficient heating/cooling. I will definitely be staying there again and recommend it to anyone who is looking for a comfortable, restful night at a reasonable price.
I stayed here while traveling to visit family over Christmas. The bed was very firm. The faucet in the shower was broken, it didn't turn on and off correctly. The tv did not have a clear picture, it looked like there was static. Breakfast did not have a whole lot to it. The waffle maker did not look like it had been cleaned in a long time. The stay overall was ok, but I do not intend to stay there again. The check in and out clerks were nice and polite.
Don't expect much for breakfast -- go to Emma's across the street or to the Cracker Barrel right in back of it. The breakfast bar is mostly empty except for coffee and toast. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful, though. I liked their attitude. Room was clean and the housekeeping excellent.
We have stayed in this hotel several times. The last time we stayed was about a year ago. We noticed that the rooms had been upgraded since our last stay. The rooms are clean, quiet and comfortable. It is within walking distance of Cracker Barrel if you choose not to eat the breakfast that is provided by the hotel.
Did not offer a microwave or fridge as stated and the lady told me that she didnt get paid enough to have people ask for things that just arent offered at their hotel she also told me that they only have one microwave in the whole hotel. ...... but it was funny because they found another once hotels.com called them.
the room smelled fouly and the beds had hairs of the previous occupants. the continental breakfast was nothing but biscuits, some kind of cream and coffee..that's it. it's not worth of what you pay for..they should be charging a lot less.
I guess I should have known! A four star for $--.00 a night? But I thought Motel, not Hotel - it's possible. We had to buy scented candles at the Cracker Barrel next door. The room smelled as if it had not been opened in quite a while. Dead water bugs in bathroom and pubes in tub and on the floor. Pool closed in 100+ degree heat. No maid service the first day. I don't know, two stars at the very most!!!
