Room was spotless. Love having no key card. Doors all done by codes. Felt very safe. If anything could be improved it would be parking. There is on street parking but it ran out at 9.30 so we had to be up to either leave or put another ticket on. Couldnât find any nearby long stay car parks.
Great place to stay - the kitchen is big and well equipped for many visitors, too. Lots of complimentary tea and coffee. Staff is excellent, friendly and helpful. Well situated in the town - I highly recommend.
Would have had a higher rating but at 3am a party started outside our bedroom window. Then a bunch of slamming doors. Kinda ruined our sleep. They need to stop this or people are not going to want to stay here. The property is really nice and it would be a shame.
What is the main reason to stay in a hotel, guest house, whatever? Exactly. And what if slamming doors prevent you from doing so? The landlady and her colleagues work day and night. Theyâre welcoming and itâs clean as a hospital. (Good) coffee is free. Couldnât get the TV to show the regular channels. Only the (many) Samsung TV ones. Wifi works really well, which seems to be rare in irish hotels. Out of sympathy I give it 3 stars. But itâs 1 really if you cannot sleep. The doors are like firing a gun in the corridor. You will sleep after the last guest has slammed the door and wake up when the first one slams it.
This property surprised me. Rooms are clean. Most of the property has been remodeled. The kitchen is large and well-equipped.
My room only had one outlet, by the window beside the wardrobe. No lamps just overhead lighting. Doors slam loudly and you can hear them throughout the night.
