An original 1950's beach shack and garage, renovated and updated in 2024 to become house and garden pavillion featuring beautiful design, materials and furniture.
Located in an secret and unspoilt part of Nothern NSW, the house sits right on the Tweed river but backs onto a reserve, a lagoon and undeveloped coastal forest that leads you straight onto Dreamtime beach.
The house and pavillion are connected by a terrace, outdoor shower and benches and surrounded by native coastal gardens.
Fish in the Tweed, snooze in the garden pavillion, wander to the beach, watch the sunset from the front terrace and wake-up to birdsong and the sound of waves crashing.

Fingal Head is quiet and sleepy. There are only 2 cafes and a surf club.
It is the ideal place to get away from everyday life; disconnect from stress and noise and reconnect with yourself.

We loved our stay at this property. The renovation of the original cottage has been done superbly and worked with the existing landscape (as opposed to the current trend of bulldozing and building the biggest house possible!). The use of native plants in the landscaping was really heartening and as the trees mature this will be a haven in years to come. The hidden access to Dreamtime Beach at the back of the properly was incredible, as was crossing the lagoon on the way, and watching the fish in the crystal clear water of the lagoon 'nursery'. The snorkelling at Marlo's Beach was a highlight and it was like swimming in an aquarium....we saw a turtle, an eagle ray, and fish of all types in the hundreds. We easily explored the nooks and crannies of the Tweed River in our kayaks and the birdlife was unbelievable. The basalt rock formation at the Fingal Head causeway is one of the few places in the world to see this type of hexagonal columnar geology and it's mind-blowing. A place of incredible natural beauty. Loved it!! Thanks Crick for the hospitality.

Fingal Head Beach House

Recently renovated this property is a delight. Decor is simple and stylish with a European flavour and the property has everything you need for a short or long stay.We found the environment very relaxing, away from the hustle of the township.Walk along the river or across to Dreamtime Beach. It couldn't be better.It was perfect for our needs and we would definitely go back again should the opportunity arise.Crick was great to deal with and very responsive.
