I liked that they accommodate us for our dog although they do charge it $20 extra fee. They accommodated me as I stopped in when I arrived in town to let them know. I was there early and to make sure that we got a ground floor room with closed door access to take our dog out and the woman told me I could come back around 1 o’clock and could check in early.The room we had this year was smaller and not as well kept up as the room we had last year. The pressure in the shower could have been better if they replace the pull-up stopper. The room didn’t appear to be swept as I found several clumps of black hair throughout the room from a human. If you walked on the floor and bare feet, your feet became black so I don’t think they have cleaned the floors in quite some time. It was pretty gross.

Don't know why this property was a 9.4 excellent rating, our personal rating is a 3/10. We went in July, hot temperatures, although the room kept the cold air in pretty well, the A/C would reach its max cooling level and turn off for 3-4 hours and begin to be extremely hot again. Would have to turn the unit back on and off, basically tweaking with it. You can hear people talking outside in the super narrow corridors and TV noise from the room across from you. Staff was pretty weird, no basic customer service. Room sink and toilet were so low to the ground, had to bend over so much to brush teeth and or use the bathroom. Room smelt weird. Getting in and out of the hotel parking wise to the main street is so strange, you cannot come into the hotel from the left without breaking a traffic violation. Overall, would not stay here again, ended up checking out early and going home.

If this is a quick overnight with only one person you will be fine but not great. If it's family, well the driver will be cranky in the am. They are completing a beautiful paint job on the outside. Upon arrival it took 5min to enter the property because of traffic and no one (except one ) allowed us to cross two lanes of traffic to enter the property. The dog barking all night was ok but what followed made me mad as I had another 6hr drive in the am. I don't know if it was kids or the property mgr but lots of yelling and screaming followed. No pool so after the rock hard mattress with spring noises you can't work out any muscles in your back. I'm overweight and barely fit in the bathroom. It consisted of a door, toilet and shower all in one. In order to shut the bathroom door you have to jimmy to the tub and then shut it.

This place was a mixed bag. Good: - Staff and Service - Location (near a lot of food and shopping) - Cleanliness - Condition of hotel Bad: - Noisy neighbors due to no sound proofing. At one point (at 1:00 am) I thought someone was in our room only to discover they were next door. It was so bad I could understand their complete conversation. Also, noise from floors above and stairs. You could even hear lobby conversations throughout the night and morning.

It was clean and had free breakfast. I noticed the woman who worked in the morning at breakfast was very pleasant, efficient, and aimed to please all patrons. Check in and checkout was also a pleasant experience. Thank you for a nice stay. Oh, an elevator would be a good investment.

Great upgrades. Painting outside of building in process. Nice colors. Nice floors in room. On Blue Lakes. Opened window, traffic noise until 11pm. Told dogs were welcome on 1st floor. No elevator to second or 3rd floors, so I opted for 1st floor. Dog barked a bit at 3am and again before 7am Walkable safe area. Restaurants, shopping area.

The room and lobby were very clean. However this hotel is not even a little bit sound proof. We stayed two nights and got no sleep at all due to kids jumping above us and people just walking down the hall. You could hear everything, including the toilet flushing, teeth brushing, coughing, etc in adjacent rooms.

We have stayed here whenever we have been in town for the last 5 years. This year the people above us where jumping on the floor, our ceiling, in the middle of the night. Starting about 4:30 am barking dogs started in. About 5:45 am we decided to just get up. Not a restful night.
