This was supposed to be a fun filled relaxing vacation but it was far from it. The check in process was complicated. Booked and paid on VRBO but I received a couple messages from the property to complete the process by signing the contract via a link that was sent which was not working. They resent the link and I took care of it. At 1st glance the unit looked pleasing to the eye. Upon further inspection you could see dust gathering on many surfaces like the lights fixtures, ceiling fans, the empty wooden curtain rods, the window sills were full of dead bugs, there were dead bugs on the carpet areas where the kids slept etc. From day one of our 5 day stay we were inundated with wasps/hornets. It was mentioned on the 2nd day because we didnât know the 1st day that it was an ongoing issue. I complained about it everyday and they acted like they were going to take care of it. They sent a guy with a can of bug spray as if I was going to spray the inside with my kids and pet dog when the hornets/wasps arrived. Unbelievable. They said the owner would come out Monday as well as an exterminator but never seen anyone. I asked for my money back so I could stay somewhere else and they wouldnât respond to that. They never offered a discount or a way to resolve the issue. The shower water pressure was horrible and took long for a family of 4 to shower.I will never stay again. This is not a 5 star stay they like you to believe! They just send messages like they care but do nothing to help.
