AMAZING property and a great location

The house is beautiful, the screen porch was amazing and the kids and family members loved hanging out on the dock. Couldn’t be happier with our choice, even with one electrical issue. Property management addressed that quickly, sending an electrician out on the weekend to fix it.

Beautiful views and great porches

The property is beautiful but things could be improved. For example the bedroom that has the king size bed is so close to the wall that somebody cannot sleep on that side if they get up during the night because there's barely six inches between the wall and the bed and you get squished trying to come out of the bed. There are no potholders so cooking becomes a little bit of a challenge and we wound up using wash clothes as pot holders. The porch on the front of the house is lovely but they're appears to be mold on the ceiling.

We did not realize the property was a 2-Level (Upstairs / Downstairs House) & was rented out as such. We had Maintenance issues with the toilet & Bedroom Door once we arrived. Maintenance came & fixed the running toilet but not the door handle on the Bedroom on the door that wouldn't shut or lock. We did enjoy the dock area outside although it was windy & cold during our stay. And we enjoyed AJ's Dockside food & walking do various areas of the island. Overall Tybee Island was not the destination we had heard about from other friends.

Great location and beautiful views!

My sisters and I enjoyed a quick stay in this cute house. It was perfect for our girls weekend. The views were beautiful and we were lucky enough to see dolphins! We drove into town on a Thursday night in the aftermath of a winter snow storm. Southern Belle was fantastic helping us with updates on roads, making sure we got in ok and making sure the house was ready. Would definitely go back!

Tybee stay

This property was great. Especially because the upstairs unit was vacant during our stay. We had full use of the dock without having to share. The water views and fishing off the dock were exceptional. It was close to the ocean beach and the river beach.

The porch, location and view are amazing. We walked to the beach and pool. You’ll need to bring your own beach chair or rent one. We used Tim’s to rent and recommend them. As other reviewers have said they need to add bathroom appropriate window treatments in both bathrooms and the bedroom that shares a glass door with the living room. It is also one of two units and there was a little kid upstairs that ran back and forth
we heard every step.

Relaxation with a view

Spent 4 days and 3 nights, we all loved the charm, location and water access the home had to offer. The house was very thoughtful with towels, extra bedding, and toiletries. The dock was the hot spot , easy for jet skis, fishing and picnic I would recommend checking if the homes upper floor will be occupied during your stay. As it is NOT a communicated. If it is, parking can be tricky ( a lot of moving cars) and communication with the other guests I mention this as I was not notified or aware the home can be rented 3 ways ( lower, upper, and whole house). We came back from an outing with full driveway and people on the dock. Very unexpected on both parties.

Charming home

We loved staying at this property on the river (we were only on the lower level)! Check in was smooth, and it was plenty spacious for our family of four. We were notified the day we checked in of an issue with one of the bathroom sinks, but the problem was quickly remedied the next morning. The only other maintenance issue I saw was a torn screen on the back porch door. We saw a few wasps, but after informing management, they quickly responded. I would recommend window shades that offer more privacy in the bedrooms and bathrooms. It wasn't an issue during the day, but more so in the evening. There are window treatments, but some of them were quite transparent. The wifi was iffy most of the time, but I think I learned the trick by the last night. I shut everything down (tv, cable box, router) and started it back up, and it worked fine. We were actually able to stream a movie that last night (something we had unsuccessfully tried the previous nights). We loved the overall charm of the home, especially the back porch where we enjoyed the sunset at dinnertime. Lots of windows to enjoy the waterfront view!
