Loved the location - near the beach, lighthouse and local restaurants. Neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. We used the lanai for breakfast, while it rained - to read, and just relax. Overall had a very nice stay!

exactly as advertised!

My husband and I are in our 80s and love the beach. This house was perfect for us as everything was all on one floor. The house charmed us the second we walked in . The furnishings were comfortable. Having two bathrooms was good. We loved a lot of the artwork. We like the North Beach location and it was accessible to the beach. Having a screened shaded porch and outdoor seating was also a pleasure. The manager was very responsive to our only issue with the tvs. We hope to come back

North Beach Gem

Just enjoyed spring break at Dogwood Cottage on Tybee. Neighborhood is safe and walkable. Cottage as described and with easy access to the beach. The property has many amenities…corn hole, games, and a fire pit in front with plenty of chairs. The light house can be viewed from the screened porch. A dog park was nearby as well and our dog enjoyed seeing new sights including the chickens down the street. Great location away from the crowds this time of year. Owner was very responsive and accommodating to our request to stay an additional night. Overall a great vacation!

OK location, great beds, but some problems

The beds were great. There wasn't enough information on how to use the Roku system. That should have been in the guest info book. The bath soap bars were terrible. Kind of like using a rock. No sudsing a very hard little piece of soap. There was a saucepan in the kitchen that had not been cleaned. There was also a dirty spatula. This should never occur. I have a short term rental and have never had this problem over 25 years.

Super Beach Bungalow

I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jenny's place. The house was immaculate and around the corner from the beach. We especially enjoyed the outdoor games that were available. My husband had morning time on the screened porch while I slept in, enjoying the MOST comfortable bed! We cooked one night and ate out the others. The kitchen was well organized so we found everything we needed. We had ample room to sit around and enjoy time with each other. Check in was convenient and communication with Jenny was great. Next time, however, I will plan in advance to try to rent a golf cart. The renters beside us had several and never had to get in their car. This house is in a perfect location for that...so close to everything!

Great place to stay!!

This is a great place to stay if a group of friends or a family! The location is in a quiet neighborhood with close beach access! Finding how to get to the beach was a little confusing but once we found it it was easy access! You do have to go over dunes so be aware of that when planning what to bring. The house is very roomy and has everything as stated in the listing! Overall a great experience and would definitely stay here again!

Perfect place for a girls weekend

What a great find! This little beach cottage was PERFECT for a sisters weekend. We had plenty of space, close access to the beach, and could still easily pop downtown for dinner. We would love to come back and stay again! There were plenty of towels, kitchen accessories, and directions. Great listing! Thank you!

Bright and airy, a perfect space for my small family.

The space was just what we needed for the 3 of us. One of our favorite places was the screened in porch where we could see the lighthouse and play games during the cloud bursts. The kitchen was tight but had everything we needed. The pots and pans were thankfully newer and in usable condition. We would absolutely rent from this person again.

Perfect Tybee Getaway!

Our family of 4 had the best time staying at this property. It is perfectly equipped with what you need cooking wise, bed/bath wise and entertainment wise. They have lots of games for indoor (Jenna, monopoly, Life) and outdoor (big connect 4, big Jenna, corn hole)! The screened in porch was FABULOUS day and night! Convenient washer/dryer in the master. Cannot say enough good things. We alternated beach days and your days and we saw tons of Savannah and the surrounding areas. We used the public beach access at 2nd Ave most often on beach days. Highly recommend!!!!

Great location

This was the first time we’d ever stayed this far north. We loved the beach and how it’s not crowded like North Beach (we have always stayed right at the North Beach access). Once we found the closest access, it was just a short walk for our family (kids 4,7,9). I don’t recommend taking a wagon through this access since the path through the dunes is significantly longer than a busy public access with a long boardwalk. The house was clean and we loved the screened in porch. The perfect place to keep all our beach gear and sit up at night and listen to the rain. Outside rinse station was great as well. Host was very available through messaging and checked in multiple times throughout the week. We will definitely look into staying here again on the future. Thanks for a great place to stay!

We loved it here the calmness of this side of the island was very nice although when it said 75 yards to the beach I thought that meant a private walk on to the beach but we had to take a longer walk to the beach
