High Tide ist ein neu renoviertes 5 Schlafzimmer, 4 Badezimmer haustierfreundliches Haus, das nur das zweite Haus vom Strand entfernt ist. Dies ist eine großartige Lage auf der mittleren Insel, von der aus Sie Ihren Urlaub auf Tybee Island genießen können. Das Haus ist eine wunderbare Option fĂŒr grĂ¶ĂŸere Familienurlaube oder einen Kurzurlaub mit Freunden, dank der ĂŒber 3700 Quadratmeter WohnflĂ€che sowie zwei KĂŒchen und Wohnzimmern.

Die zweite Etage dieses Hauses bietet einen fantastischen offenen Wohnbereich mit großzĂŒgigen Lounge-Sitzen, einem großen Flachbild-TV und einem Essbereich mit kombinierten Sitzgelegenheiten fĂŒr 11 Personen. Die voll ausgestattete KĂŒche verfĂŒgt ĂŒber einen Doppelofen, einen GeschirrspĂŒler, einen großen KĂŒhlschrank und einen Herd. Es gibt eine KĂŒchentheke fĂŒr 4 Personen auf einer separaten Insel. Auf dieser obersten Etage befinden sich auch 2 Schlafzimmer und 2 BĂ€der. Das Hauptschlafzimmer verfĂŒgt ĂŒber ein Kingsize-Bett, einen dekorativen Kamin, einen großen Flachbildfernseher und ein angeschlossenes Bad mit Dusche und Whirlpool. Das erste GĂ€stezimmer verfĂŒgt ĂŒber ein Kingsize-Bett. Es gibt auch ein separates GĂ€ste-WC auf dieser Etage. Die Sonnenterrasse im zweiten Stock bietet Sitzgelegenheiten und einen Holzkohlegrill fĂŒr das Kochen.

Im ersten Stock seines Hauses befinden sich eine zweite, teilweise ausgestattete KĂŒche mit KĂŒhlschrank und GeschirrspĂŒler, ein offener Wohnbereich mit bequemen Sitzgelegenheiten und einem großen Flachbild-TV sowie 3 Schlafzimmer und 2 BĂ€der. Das 3. GĂ€stezimmer verfĂŒgt ĂŒber 2 Doppelbetten und das 4. Schlafzimmer ist mit 2 Einzelbetten ausgestattet. Das 5. GĂ€stezimmer ist mit einem Kingsize-Bett, einem separaten Twin-Daybed und einem großen Flachbild-TV ausgestattet. Auf dem Flur befindet sich ein zusĂ€tzlicher Schlafbereich mit eingebauten Twin-Etagenbetten. Es gibt ein komplettes GĂ€ste-Badezimmer zwischen dem Etagenbett und dem 4. GĂ€stezimmer. Es gibt auch eine Terrasse neben dem Wohnbereich.

Great family vacation

The property was great for our extended family- 7 adults, 2 children and 2 dogs. It was great to have such a large living area and a smaller one downstairs. The pool and outdoor bar were a hit. Very close to the beach!

Great house and location but not as clean

The house is great with plenty of rooms, beds, and space for hanging out, but also enough areas for getting away for some quiet time, if needed. Pool was nice for a few people at a time, but a large group would be cramped for playing. V Location was great for walking to the beach, or the shops or pier area if you like getting your steps in. Not a clean as we would have preferred (hair in showers and sinks). The kitchen was stocked well enough for standard meals, and linens and basics were provided. Response time was quick for property managers when we needed to contact them. We would stay here again. It's a great house for a large group. There were only 5 of us.

Great house with tons of space.

Comfortable and spacious with super cool outdoor space. Had a beer in the pool while watching NBA playoffs on the TV at the outdoor bar. That was pretty cushy. About a 20 minutes walk to the nightlight area, long but doable. We just rented bikes and explored that way. Just steps away from a beautiful beach with picturesque dunes. Huge rooms. Nice fixtures. Lots of space to congregate and socialize, indoors and out. Enjoyed our stay!

Great property / Misleading amenities

This property is perfectly located just one house away from the beach. It has ample room for a lot of guests and it was very clean on the inside. The day we arrived the pool had a lot of leaves and dirt in it, but the property manager responded the next day and was able to get it cleaned that afternoon. The layout downstairs is pretty funky but it works for housing a lot of people. The pool was added recently and there isn't direct access to the pool from the bottom floor but you can walk around the side of the property to get to it or off the second floor's balcony to get to it. They offered plenty of linens but they were thin and rough. There were no beach towels or any beach equipment. Also, there was not much for cleaning supplies or detergent so you will need to bring that yourself. Also the kitchen, while stocked with equipment has nothing in terms of necessities other than salt and pepper. The misleading part of the listing is that it does not have a "hot tub" -- the pool can only be heated to the 80s and that's only how warm the "hot tub" area can get as well. The property managers claimed that it was a "spa" not a "hot tub" so that is why it wasn't able to get hot but that terminology is not an indicator of temperature differentiation anyway. They said they would remove the "hot tub" amenity off of VRBO and offered us $55 worth of gift cards to use at local restaurants. This was a big bummer for us personally, because the only reason we splurged for this particular property (as group of 3 adults and one child that only needed two bedrooms) was for hot tub. We were there in mid march and knew it would too cool to enjoy the ocean, etc. I think this property would be AMAZING in the summer time but don't book it for the hot tub!

Check in and out process was very simple and efficient. Plenty of beds and restrooms for a large group. The upstairs living area was a great place for the whole group to gather. The pool area was gorgeous and relaxing.

High Tide with some low moments

While the common areas were great, special shout-out for the pool and outdoor couch/kitchenette there were some less desirable parts of the house. The bedrooms were fair and the pillows terribly uncomfortable. The kitchen was missing basic things like a wine opener, salt, pepper and more. When renting a house, the basics should be there withou having to put a call into the rental property to request items. There was also a lack of towels For 9 women which required another request Into the rental property. One of the most disappointing aspects was the discrepancy between check-in times. VRBO stated 3p and the rental house stated 4p. I’d been in touch with the rental property for a few days before and the day of and got very delayed responses on when we could check -in which was ultimately after 4p. That was very disappointing as we had requested earlier and even the 3p quoted by VRBO would have better. VRBO & the rental company need to get on the same page.

Tybee home near mid beach

Pictures of the property are representative of the home. All of the furnishings are a bit worn given the amount of rental of the home but overall the beds are comfortable and there is ample room for a large group to have a great time. Accessibility to the best part of the beach on Tybee was great while being close enough yet far enough away from the main town center. Loved the pool and was a hit w/ the kids especially the covered area by the pool with an outside fridge. Would be great if there was an outdoor shower and easy accessibility to a bathroom from the pool area. Would also suggest looking into astroturf vs mulch/pinestraw around the pool area - would make it much easier to clean/keep stuff out of the pool. Overall, we had a great time staying at the home and we appreciated the large open spaces to be together as a family.

Fun Times in Tybee

Me and 9 other family members stayed at High Tide. It's a large, roomy house, with a great kitchen and many sitting areas, inside and out. Really short walk to the beach! Try it, you'll like it!

PERFECTION!!

High Tide was the PERFECT spot for our family vacation!! The house is beautiful and just as pictured in the listing!! More than enough space for our family of 15....ample seating, deck space, everything!! The pool is just perfect, and the walk to the beach is so easy. Will definitely recommend High Tide to friends and family!! Looking forward to staying here again!!!

Perfect beach getaway for groups

Lovely, well appointed home. Photos are an accurate representation. We had a large group and we fit nicely, with plenty of space. So close to the beach access that going to and from the house for anything was a breeze. We had a lovely getaway and would return.

Very cozy!! Guest services (Amy!!) provided us with prompt help when needed. The property had everything we needed and was very comfortable. hey even had a child gate that we were able to use upstairs to keep all the kiddos safe. Grown-ups and kids already miss the house!!

This Was the Perfect Location in a Fabulous House

We love Tybee and close-by Savannah but we've never stayed in the absolute center of perfection before - Maybe 500 feet from beach access and a couple of blocks from the Breakfast Club. We shared the house with our three sons and five grandchildren. And there was plenty of room in large, high-ceilinged spaces for private conversation in front of the fireplace at the same time as a board game in the dining room and UNO at the card table. The sunny property is essentially a top/bottom duplex so well designed that the flow of the rooms and stairs creates a welcoming nest for the extended family. Each bedroom has something extra and all the teenagers and younger, boys and girls, found something special about their space. Our immense suite included a huge whirpool bath side by side with a shower room. These came in very handy as most of us decided to take a Polar Bear swim, racing down to the waves and wrapping up for the quick trek back. The Bears took turns cleaning off in the outdoor spigot (Brrr!), followed by a shower in one of the many house showers then warming up in the hot tub. That sort of memory will be indelible for us all. The house has an expansive, well-appointed kitchen. We only stayed two nights so we didn't prepare more than breakfast. Walking down to the restaurants was a breeze and we especially enjoyed Sting Ray's platters and burgers. Owners! Pay attention. The biggest negative were the mattresses in the small twin bedroom by the front door. Lumpy and sagging, my laid-back son told me as we were leaving. He couldn't sleep well. Xavier of the cleaning team gave us a great welcome. His boss (Mother not-so-Superior, I called her) and the folks back in the office, not so much. Way to pop a visitor's balloon, MNSS. After the office approved our dropping off our bags 15 minutes early, the white-coated Housekeeper met us at the door and announced that no one had told us any such thing; the office would have called her if such permission had been granted. Then when I went for final check-in the clerk at the desk informed me that I had misrepresented our phone conversation; that she had never given such permission and that she never would because it was not allowed. I guess she's more afraid of the Housekeeper than of calling a non-returning guest a liar. Basically the housekeeping was fine and well-organized. The dining room table was tacky but easily cleaned. The floors were spotless, towels plentiful

Amazing home. We had a great vacation.

We were a group of 10 adults, 1 teenager, and 2 seven year olds. This house was perfect. Plenty of room. What a great kitchen area upstairs! We spent many hours around the island in the kitchen eating and talking. The house has all the dishes, silverware, pans you will need, and 2 full sized refrigerators. Nice beds, great hang-out areas. The house is on the beach, the second one back, but it literally takes 90 seconds to be on the shore. Easy 20 minute drive to Savannah. Thank you for a really nice family experience.

Beautiful house in a great location!

This spacious house was really well updated and stylishly decorated. The beach is close! Just 1 house the beach boardwalk. It would work well for a family reunion or a couple of families vacationing together. We had a good experience with the rental company and would recommend this house to a friend.

Great multi-family home

We stayed at High Tide in the end of December and worked out really well for us 10 adults and 4 young kiddos. And a dog. Second house from the beach made it easy to catch a sunset or a few more minutes of cold weather beach time any time of the day. Location was on a quiet street and right between the Lighthouse/North Beach and Pier/shops. Equipped kitchen and washer/dryer was extremely helpful to a group this house can accommodate. Would recommend this rental.
