Nice place to stay

Overall stay was good. Biggest surprise was there is no oven. Just a convention oven in the microwave. Place is a bit dated but was overall nice for a family of 4 to stay for a week. There was a warning of poisonous snakes on your walk to the beach which was a bit scary.

Overall was good! For some reason, I couldn’t access the check out procedure so hopefully I did everything correctly. I messaged the host but did not hear back. The guest tub does not drain very well and the showerhead needs to be replaced. It’s quite a haul to the beach, but was good exercise. The pool was very nice. The upstairs guest were extremely loud at all hours of the night and morning, but that is out of anyone’s control.

Fun Stay - Walking Distance to the Beach

I took my daughter and her best friend to celebrate her 30th birthday. We appreciated the simple walk to the beach and our separate bedrooms.Appreciated the washer/dryer availability and cleanliness.

Great getaway

Wanted a quick weekend away at the beach before school started. There were a good bit of mosquitoes on the boardwalk area (my kids got attacked and had to run for it) and had slight issue with tv- not a big deal. Plenty of room for us to stay and enjoy the beach

Nice vacation if there wasn't a neighbor upstairs

This is a lovely condo, awesome pool area and great communication with rental agency. However, the neighbors upstairs were night owls and it sounded like elephants stomping on the ceiling from late night to early morning hours. It also sounded like the conversations were in the room next door and not a totally different unit. Had it not been for that, the vacation would have been completely relaxing. Also, the venomous snake nesting area sign at the entrance to the beach walk was unnerving. Thankfully my children are college age, otherwise I would be a little concerned with small children.

The website indicated there would be some view of the ocean and there waws none from our unit. The main shower head needs to be replaced. Could not change the spray and was not able to tilt out so had to stand under it up against the wall.

Great spot

We loved that there was a little pool for our young children to play in. We enjoyed being on the north side of the island where there were some neat restaurants and less commotion. The only downfall is that there was a lot of construction going on. My kids tried to nap everyday and woke up to the sound of a saw and a man right outside the bedroom window working on the exterior. The pool area was also less relaxing because there were construction vehicles running for several days and one machine was running til midnight so we couldn’t enjoy sleeping with the patio door open. That was likely just a unique situation, though. And it’s nice they’re updating and restoring areas that need it for the long run. I would stay at this location again.

We had to reschedule because of Hurricane Ian so it was pretty chilly but still enjoyable weather. As far as the condo: the TV had 5 working channels, none for children so that was real fun. There was no oven so I couldn’t make some meals I had planned. The walls are paper thin, the upstairs neighbors sounded like elephants from midnight until 5am when I guess they passed out. Not a relaxing/restful sleep that’s for sure. There is also rattle snake nesting areas on all walkways to the beach so that was terrifying for my 2 and 5 year old as well for my husband and I. The location is pretty nice but that is about the only positive I have for this property. Won’t be staying here again!

Great time!

Enjoyed my stay! Location was close to Hwy 80, lovely views of the light house and very close to the beach! Very much appreciated the covered parking and it was easy for friends to find who visited for a pool hangout. Nice set up for smaller family like mine.

Weekend Stay in Tybee

The condo was very nice. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, which was a plus. The bed in the master room was comfy as was the seating in the den. Overall a great location. It rained all weekend and our visit was in February, so we did not get to enjoy the pool or the beach. Hopefully I can make a visit again in the summer to fully enjoy everything the condo has to offer. I was impressed with the rental company - Tybee Vacations. They left us a nice little welcome package with brochures, magazines, etc., which I really appreciated. Check-in and Check-out was great as well - very efficient and easy!

Loved it

Instructions and code was provided promptly in my email. The place was clean and beds we’re comfortable. They asked us to go to the office for our cards to drive in and paper to put on our car window so our car wouldn’t get towed from our assigned parking spot. The office was not even at the property. I called the office and Iris was super helpful. Our screens on both doors to patio were off the tracks and she sent maintenance right over to fix them. She also had them bring our package that we was to pick up. Other guests there and myself felt having to go to a different location took time out of our stay. I suggested they get our vehicle information before we get there & our package in our rooms. There was no gate so we didn’t even need anything that was in the packet. Just something to think on it would make it all that much nicer. Proximity to the beach was awesome and tv had Netflix & cable for extra entertainment. I’m pretty picky about cleanliness and I felt very comfortable there. Even walked barefoot :) Thanks Iris your such a sweety.

North Beach Tybee Island

This was a great spot for exploring Tybee Island and easy access to Savannah. Tybee has a great feel if you like to be in a casual and even rustic place. We liked the North Beach location with access to the Light House and renown restaurants. It also provides easy access on and off the island. The property was very clean, had great amenities with 2 pools and a kiddie pool and tennis courts. The check in and check out procedures were top notch...as easy as ever via VRBO. I highly recommend this property.

Less than pictured

There are some pros and cons about this listing: Pros - gated access, easy parking below the unit, cute furnishings, fresh cleaned/bleached bath towels and bed linens, walk to private beach - a bit long tho, cute coffee shop close by, great restaurant called Sundae close by. Cons - bathrooms were not clean with lots of soap/toothpaste residue on sink and shower hardware. Used toiletries left from prior guests on floor making it seem it wasn't swept/mopped. Master tub backed up with water which felt gross. Guest bedroom window was filthy with mold/mildew. Guest bed was extremely uncomfortable due to master bed squeaking and knocking on wall when you turn over. Only a bar of cheap skin drying soap was supplied vs other rentals who offer nicer soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, toothpaste, at least. Can hear people walking above us (thin ceilings). 3 sets of old/narrow stairs to get to unit. Front door was not flashed, could see gaps of light and air (felt unsecure). Noisey neighbor on balcony partying late. Was told it was okay to have a small pop up fire pit on beach at night and the beach sign of rules did not have firepits listed as prohibited. The local sheriff came to give us a $926 citation after 1 hr. We just didn't feel comfortable and left a night early.
