This was a nice little hideaway on the quiet end of Tybee. The beach was just a few blocks away, we loved the easy access! Bed was comfy and AC worked great. We used the pool several times, which was on the south part of the island. It was somewhat crowded, but we appreciated having access to it. Property management was very responsive and very accommodating!

Property was nice enough with a great location. The issue we had is that there was a wasps nest over the front door, spiders in the shower, and roaches in the bedroom restroom.

Great couples getaway

This cottage was adorable! It was clearly marked, within walking distance to beach, and couple of restaurants. Things to know: internet can be spotty at times, driveway is gravel and there a couple of stairs. Not a big deal unless you have mobility issues. It was perfect for my husband and I. I could not imagine having more than 2-3 people in this space. There is no dishwasher so you need to bring paper plates or wash your dishes. I would totally stay here again. Very quiet neighborhood.

Carriage House review...

This was a beautiful island getaway! All necessities were taken care of at the property. The cozy house was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities we needed for a great 4 day stay. We were close to shopping, restaurants, and best of all...3 blocks from the beautiful sand beaches of Tybee Island.

Concert Weekend

We loved staying at this cute rental. I took my daughter and one of her friends to a concert at Enmarket Arena. Although we had to drive into Savannah, we enjoyed the weekend. The rental is just as described. We were able to walk to several places, including the beach. It was easy to access, safe, and provided the amenities we needed. We also enjoyed exploring Tybee Island for the first time. Thank you!

Just as Promised

We liked staying in this charming carriage house, but wish the couch had been more comfy. (Sofa beds are never cushy.) Cooking was a bit of a challenge, as there is no stove or oven, but, other than that, we enjoyed the stay. There were 3 days of dense fog and we could hear the fog horns answering each other in the night. I liked it, others might not sleep well. But we enjoyed the proximity to the beach & convenience of location overall.

Nice cottage

This is a great 1 bedroom rental for a couple long-weekend. The location is really convenient for walking to the beach, or biking to the lighthouse or down to the pier. The house has what you need - but read the list of supplies carefully. We were surprised to not have at least a single washing machine pod, and only one travel size shampoo/conditioner combo. We were able to get a bit extra after asking the host. They were very communicative. Some of the cups smelled like smoke to the point where the entire cabinet smelled, but I soaked them and the smell went away. I’d stay again!

Excellent property for a Tybee Island getaway

My wife and I enjoyed enjoyed this property very much! We wanted a quiet place to get away from the busyness of life and this "hideaway" on Tybee Island was perfect. The property is as advertised, very clean, and close to plenty of eateries for our 6-day stay. The short drive to Savannah was also a plus! The only downside was that the Wi-Fi was spotty but that didn't matter to us because it was not important for the purpose of our trip.

Enjoyed our stay

The cottage was very quaint, quiet, and enjoyable. The beach was a short, easy walk, and amazing! Furnishings and decos were nice, and everything very clean. The bed was quite comfortable and that's really important to us. Kitchen is small and simple, could use more eating spoons and a good knife sharpener. Overall, a very simple and pleasant experience, just what we were looking for. Loved Tybee Island! Loved that it was a short drive into Savannah.

Awesome! Awesome! Awesome!

I just cant say enough about the Carriage House and Southern Belle Rentals and it's personnel. The carriage house was quaint, comfortable, spacious and just a short walk away from the beach and restaurants. It had all the amenities you would need to enjoy your stay. I was celebrating my 67th birthday and asked for an extended checkout so that I could attend an activity that was cancelled the previous day because of weather. They were so gracious in extending my checkout time and I was able to go to that activity. I would definitely recommend staying at the Carriage House, and getting your vacation rental from Southern Belle Rentals.

Latitude Adjustment

Tybee Island Stay

Loved the size and location of this property. Everything was clean and the bed and furniture were comfortable Kitchen was small but cute and functional. Although my one ask for kitchens without dishwashers is as least a dish drainer and extra kitchen towels? I ended up using a bathroom towel to dry the dishes on. I don't want to buy or bring towels to do the dishes. From check in to check out we had no issues without the property. TV and heat worked well. The bathroom door was quirky but it was just the two of us.

Great Time

The rental was absolutely adorable! We loved staying here but it was tricky finding exactly where it was (being behind the main house with the same address). It is farther than walking distance to the “fun stuff” and you have to pay for parking every time you leave which is an expense that wasn’t budgeted for. The pool is nice but feels like being at a friends backyard so be aware of that. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but would choose somewhere a bit closer to everything next time.
