The only issue we had was we were only left one parking pass and we needed two. i could not get in touch with anyone to get the second pass. Thankfully there was no issue. The condo was nice and had a good view of the beach.
The room was not up to the standards I would expect for the cost of the room. I have stayed at Tybee Beach Club the two previous years without any quality issues. The owner of this unit is using the reputation of the other units to charge a high price for a sub-standard unit. Storage for clothes is non-existent, no chest-of-drawers and the side table drawers were tiny. The couch was dirty and worn out. There weren't any extra light bulbs to replace the burned out one in the living room area. Only 4 hangers in the closet. The floor was nasty and there was no mop or vacuum cleaner. A bolt was missing from one of the fan blades in the bedroom, so it scraped against the housing if we ran it. There weren't any blackout curtains in the bedroom, so there was an excessive amount of light even with the slats closed as tight as they would go. The shower seat was broken off and thrown in the vanity. I have pictures if you want to see them. John Beck
Could not get a better location. The condo could use some up grades - table on balcony- broken chair in living room - carpet in Master seemed dirty. Little or no amenities. Staff was very friendly.
Great room and location ! The carpet in master bedroom needs replacing. Bad stains not cleanable. Overall great response to issues and great stay ! Love the pool and resteraunt on site.
Nice place, convenient location to restaurants, beach, pool. The room was nice but the bedrooms are carpeted and the carpet isnât very clean, otherwise it was a great place
We stayed here for a quick trip to the beach. The unit was clean and had a nice view of the ocean. The highlight was the Deck-the on premise bar and restaurant. The staff was attentive and the food and drinks great.
We got to the island a little earlier than check in so we had lunch and went to the parking deck of the property. At 4 I had not received the text for the door code so I called the property management company. The agent was not able to provide a check in time and did not seem to care we were literally sitting in a parking deck just waiting. It was another 30 minutes before we got the code to get in.
I would stay at this location again but not book with this rental company.
This condo was filthy. I spent the first day having to go shopping for bedding/ linens. I found hairs, stains (old and new unwashed) , and a booger on the bedsheets as well as hair in a bath towel. When I stripped the bed to put on the sheets I purchased I found a urine stain on the mattress pad. I felt like I fell into a pit each time I got into the bed, so it was clear that this mattress was extremely worn and outdated. By the looks of the place I imagine it is still the original mattress on the beds. The toilet in the master bedroom had a brown ring and streaks so it clearly had not been cleaned in a long time. The shower basin in the master bedroom was covered with a black mold stain. The pillows on the deck chairs were all stained and one chair had a missing back pillow so you could not lean back.
The deck floor had brown and green mold. The walls in the bedrooms had several scuffs and there is a piece of painters tape still affixed to molding on the bathroom cabinet - this is evidence of how little attention and upkeep the condo receives.
I spoke with a representative as well as a manager at Tybee Vacation Rentals about an issue and was promised a 10% credit. I never received the credit.
Not the cleanest place we have stayed but it was just what we needed for everything else! The bar downstairs had amazing food and drinks and the bartender was the best tour guide! Very mellow atmosphere beach and the beach was not crowded at all. We were far enough north for it not to be loud and we will def be going back huk-a-poos had awesome pizza and the crab shack was an experience. Food on the island was a bit hard to find because of covid but it was to be expected with the pandemic. We had a few minor issues but it was quickly fixed by the rental company they were so helpful and punctual!
