Great service, great food, and good location where you feel exclusive. They did have construction going on however at the front entrance so keep this in mind. They also had construction going on along the tennis courts but this does not take away from the quality of service and happiness they provide. Eka, Mei, Putra was our butler and he did a fantastic job and was always there if anything was needed, 5 out 5 starts for you and the rest of the team!! Good work and stay here!

Our stay at the Maya Resort in Ubud was unforgettable from the very start. When we arrived, a few curious monkeys were waiting in our garden to welcome us — a sign of the nature and charm that defines this place. The next morning, as I set out for an early walk, I was lucky enough to join a large family of about thirty monkeys on the first leg of my hike. They moved calmly and peacefully through the forest, completely at ease with my quiet presence. It was a magical and truly unique experience. Beyond the wildlife encounters, everything at Maya Ubud was exceptional. The meals were consistently delicious, the resort grounds were immaculate and lush, and the service was flawless — attentive without being intrusive. Each evening brought beautiful traditional entertainment that perfectly complemented the atmosphere. Maya Ubud is a place where nature, culture, and comfort come together effortlessly. It’s serene, elegant, and full of those small, special moments that stay with you long after you leave.

The pictures don’t do this place justice. It’s a beautiful serene hotel in the heart of the rainforest. Our villa had an infinity pool which was beautiful and the outdoor hotel infinity pools were also phenomenal. We couldn’t get into the spa as it was booked out but that would have been excellent too. We had an amazing time at this resort and the service was phenomenal.

It was amazing hotel to stay we really love staff and pool. Only one thing that I would say is staff need to check the room before the guest because we had late check in and arrived the hotel around 10:30pm so first thing we wanted to take shower and there was a creepy reptile on the shower curtain.I really got scared. Coming from Hotel Indigo Seminyak with its amazing service, I had high hopes for Maya Ubud but left disappointed. The upgrade to a “corner suite” for 400,000 IDR per night was a joke — the room felt dated and not worth the extra cost. The TV didn’t work, the faucet leaked unless tightened extremely hard, and housekeeping didn’t clean our room until we specifically asked. Service overall lacked attentiveness and warmth. For the price and 5-star rating, Maya Ubud falls short in both care and quality.
