The combination with days at the beach is ideal. The house is only a few minutes' drive from the sea. Castricum and Egmond aan Zee are the nearest beach resorts. In the park you can get information about the environment at the reception. Water sports enthusiasts can enjoy sailing, surfing or a trip in a sloop. If you don't have a boat, you can hire one at reception.
Uitgeest offers you numerous opportunities to be active and discover the region. Take advantage of the location on the lake for sailing, surfing or boating. In the marina, the wheelchair-accessible restaurant 't Schippersrijk invites you to linger with a wonderful view of the lake. The surrounding area offers exciting excursion destinations such as the Zaanse Schans, the historic cheese market in Alkmaar or a visit to Amsterdam.
