In need of updating, especially for a best western. Rooms were dim, and needed some TLC. However, it was quiet, felt safe and the front desk clerk was so friendly
It was an ok stay. But there were ants as soon as i throw a wrapper or diaper in the trash. The management was not very friendly either. For their price, I have experienced better service from another accommodation businesses in town that offer a more affordable price. Not just because something is more expensive, means the experience is better. The housekeeping staff were nice and friendly though.
I arrived at 3:05pm, which is on the early side but still after check in opened. I was allocated a room but when I got there, not only did the key card fail to work when I eventually got in the bed wasn't made.
Overnight an army of ants made there way down the walls around the sink area (just outside the bathroom) and down to the waste bin where I'd thrown away an empty can of Sprite. It meant having to mop up hundreds of ants with a wet face cloth so I could clean my teeth and shave without them crawling on me.
A nice hotel. Good place to stay if you are riding the Skunk Railroad that starts in Willits. While staying the hotel was also the home of 9 Cal Fire Truck units of 36 firefighters. We enjoyed the breakfast. Only negative, the hotel has 3 levels, but no elevator.
