We visited with out 3 girls during half term. We really liked the layout of the apartment and it had everything we needed (although we forgot to take towels which weren't supplied - our bad!) The surrounding are beautiful and interesting with the old ironworks directly opposite. We found a nice pub, the Anglers Arms, just up the road with friendly staff and the food looked good. Our only very minor gripes are - we couldn't get one of the radiators to come on downstairs - not too bad when we went as it was fairly mild but would have kept us a little more cozy. There was no access to the back patio as the cleaner holds the key - again, not a real issue for us in February but nice to have on spring / summer days as it's a fantastic outlook onto the river. Great location for the Lakes - I would definitely visit again and recommend to anyone.
Stayed 3 nights in Feb 2024
