Make no mistake, this is a 1-star budget hotel. It may cost more than some other budget hotels in Ushuaia because it is in a very convenient location. The place is well worn and could use renovation. But then it would cost more. Staff were extremely helpful, storing my bag for a few hours even though the storage room was full. People make all the difference, especially in budget accommodations. I would stay here again.

No temperature control in the room. Only one plug to charge devices. The WiFi is just terrible, even the tv buffers and disconnects. The shower kept dripping all night. The mattress is super hard. Breakfast is minimal and stale. Terrible experience

The first room we were put in started having foul odor from the toilet where when we came back the entire room smelled of sewage. We were given a new room, but for price these rooms were a little better than a hostel. No true amenities. The first room did not have any way to control heat/cold. The second room kept turning on or not at all. There was on a few occasions noise coming from other guests that was very audible. The staff were very nice; the breakfast area was pleasant with the food good.

Most of the staff was super but there is no way to turn off the heat in the room it was on constantly unless we went and asked for it to be turned off. So at 3 am when we couldn't stand it anymore we had to go to front desk and ask for it to be turned off so we didn't get much rest here.

Worst hotel stay of my life

Rude staff; never felt welcome during my stay Poorly managed; I arrived 4h after check-in started and the room I got was not cleaned since the last guest. Got another room, which was not cleaned either. Third try worked out except the curtains were broken so there was a permanent gap letting in daylight Dirty and badly maintained room; did not see any trace of maid service apart from making of the bed and new towels on my request. Instead I was the one picking up masses of long, dark hair left on the floor from the staff (my hair is neither long or dark). Either ice cold or steaming hot in room Terrible breakfast, more of a buffet of sweets. The bread that was there was unbelievably dry, coffee tasted like water and was barely hot. Felt unwelcome here too, one day I arrived 40 minutes before breakfast closed and the look I got from the member of staff when I stepped in could have killed a human being. Make yourself a favour and avoid this place unless you get paid to stay.
