Great location and room was clean. Wifi was good. Perhaps not the best access for some as it is a 3rd floor walkup with narrow stairs. No heating so room can be cold by american standards in December. I understand this is normal for Valencian homes.

The location is perfect — right on the border of the old town and the park. The hosts were very accommodating and kindly allowed us an early check-in free of charge.However, the place has a musty smell and very poor lighting both in the room and the bathroom. In the evening, when the shutters are closed, it gets really dark. The staircase is extremely narrow, which makes it difficult to carry luggage up and down. Overall, the apartment could use some renovation.

Love the roof patio!

The one-room apartment was a great little home-base for our time in Valencia. We were grateful to have air conditioning and also thoroughly enjoyed the roof deck. It was also nice to have access to washing machines. The building is old, and it shows (e.g. there were some ants in the bathroom, and there are a couple things in the apartment itself that need repair), but all in all, we enjoyed our stay. The apartment is located in a quieter area of town, but still close to plenty of good restaurants/shops and has good access to bus lines and the awesome Turia Gardens park. My one recommendation to the host would be to provide some soap/shampoo for the shower next time!
