Had an awesome water view of Vancouver, which is not something I had expected or paid extra for. I was visiting there during off season (late January), but man, when I got to my room and looked out the window from the 23rd floor, it was amaaaaazing!! Unexpected, sometimes these unexpected upgrades just make your hotel stay remarkable!! Thank you. And the staff was very polite during check in, check out, and through the entire stay when I asked for a late check out time, since I was going to stay with my brother for the remainder of the week at the Cancer Center Residence in Vancouver just down the street and their check in time wasn't until 3pm. So, the staff at the Holiday Inn were gracious enough to give me a late checkout of 1pm without a charge. My stay was way better than I expected, and for that I am truly grateful.

The included breakfast was a full buffet with scrambled eggs and waffles and you also had the option to order from the menu (no additional charge), so that was really nice even though we stuck to the buffet because there were so many options already with the buffet. Staff was really friendly.
