We stayed at MYPLACE Vancouver WA last night 2/21/26 based on the high rating given by Expedia. This was the worst hotel experience our family has experienced. Their was a group of unsupervised teens playing and talking. We complained multiple times as the noise did not stop and actually got worse. The front desk came up to our floor and told them to go to their room which ended up being next to ours and their party continued. We asked to leave and be refunded but we were told this is not an option. We then asked to be moved. She moved us to the room above their room which was still able to hear the noise. She then moved us to the first floor. Note that we had to wake our child in the middle of the night to pack up and move. This was a very bad experience. We told the front desk staff this morning and we were told to contact you. Expedia said they can do nothing as did the hotel.

The cleaning products used to clean the rooms were so strong. We had to keep our window open. Maybe try using something less fragrant. Our room did not have any body wash in the shower.

I always like my room. I hate when prices go too high. Its nice but not that nice. And I recommend getting an ice machine. I hate waiting for the ice maker in the fridge. Its slow and loud.

The staff can learn how to say good morning or welcome back. One morning while catching the elevator, the housekeeper abruptly asked “Are you checking out?” First night there was no liquid soap in the shower and housekeeping couldn’t remedy until the next day. Our room was cleaned twice during our 14 day stay and I had to request the second cleaning.

1. Firmer beds 2. Give people in your welcome to inform how load the door is if you just let it slam shut. People are trying to sleep and people just let the doors go a they slam shut. 3. People talking in a regular volume voice is loud in the rooms you are outside of. Maybe a little education of guest would help.
