Our room was clean, and quiet and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is currently going through renovations but these did not disrupt our stay. The kitchenette was small but functional. It was handy to have a washer and dryer in the room as we stayed 2 weeks.

The room smelled of urine when I first moved in. At 3 in the morning there was a dripping. Thought it may be rain. By 4, it was apparent that there was a leak coming from the ceiling. When the front desk was notified, had to pack up and go downstairs to switch rooms. First I was required to pay a (second) deposit on the new room. Have stayed multiple times before with satisfaction. Hopefully this was a “one off”.

While this is our first time back in a couple of years, it remains our go to hotel. There is a full bedroom for those who go to bed earlier. Kitchen, full refer. We don't eat out every meal, nice to have breakfast/coffee in-house. Close to English Bay. P.S. we come from Seattle on the train and usually stay a week. I do wish that the steam room still worked. Good enough workout room and yoga station. It is also one of the least expensive, its like having an apartment. Comes with a washer/dryer that we have never used. Davie Street has everything. Happy Travels!

For the most part, everything was 4.9 out of 5. If you are using the pullout sofa, make sure they have a mattress topper on it, maybe even two. The mattress was of very pour quality, you could feel every coil spring by just putting your hand on it, sleeping or should I say not sleeping on it was a nightmare. Once they put a mattress topper on it was tolerable and could get some sleep. Hotel staff were very apologetic and compted my parking, and provided some gifts.

Such a convenient location right on Davies St. The king ocean view was recently renovated and the view was spectacular. The front desk was helpful and I had no problem checking my luggage into their storage, then they let me check in early too. Great stay.
