Sehr saubere und gut ausgestattete Wohnung in bester Lage

Wir waren mit drei Kindern für eine Woche in Venedig und haben in dieser schönen Wohnung auf Guidecca gewohnt. Die Lage ist super, es ist ruhig und nicht voll, aber man ist ganz schnell mit dem Vaporetto an allen bekannten Sehenswürdigkeiten. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind ganz in der Nähe und man hat von Guidecca einen wunderbaren Blick auf die Hauptinsel, den man auch schön von einer der netten Bars genießen kann. Die Wohnung ist zweckmäßig eingerichtet, sehr kindertauglich und die Küche enthält viele Details, die wir so bisher in italienischen Ferienwohnungen nicht zur Verfügung hatten wie Schneidemesser, Teekanne, Pürierstab, mehrere gute Pfannen ... Und alles war blitzsauber. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, aber nicht aufdringlich. Fazit: Wir kommen bestimmt noch einmal wieder!!

Wonderful place

We spent 3 nights in this great apartment right across the bay from Venice. It was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable for our party of 5. Lovely restaurants nearby and the ferry to Venice was a breeze. A great way to stay out of the hustle and bustle but close enough to be able to enjoy the beauty that Venice has to offer. The rental and check in process could not have been easier. Would definitely stay here again!

Everything was great!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Very clean and spacious place, the communication with the owners was so easy. Please keep in mind that this apartment is not on the main island, and we had to take a water bus everywhere, but we actually enjoyed that. Would highly recommend.

First leg of trip.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The location is away from the main island and it took a little getting used to figuring out what water bus to take that was most efficient to just getting across the canal. After 11PM you would need to take a more expensive water taxi. The property itself was comfortable and cheery. Bathrooms are small but this is typical.

Fantastico!

We loved our stay in this lovely home on Giudecca! It was clean and bright and perfect for our family of four. A short walk to catch the boat into San Marco and loved that we could come home to some quiet after a long day of sight seeing. We would definitely recommend to stay here and hope to go back in the near future!

Wonderful hostess who made our stay awesome. Met us at our boat the first day (this is on one of the main islands of Venice; you don’t want to be on the primary island — too many people)... this is perfect ..... 3 minute boat ride across. Modern, clean, comfortable

Stella Marina is the perfect place to relax from the touristy crowds of Venice and experience the beauty of this city among locals. The hosts are gracious, responsive and helpful. Traveling with a toddler can be challenging but having an accommodation like this was comfortable. Local restaurant provided take away meals and having an equipped kitchen was helpful. Cristina was always very responsive to emails and texts. Her and her huaband made us feel welcome. Highly recommend this apartment!

Clean, spacious and modern. Very comfortable. Typical Italian shower and hot water system. Why do people who built the aqueducts have so much trouble with modern plumbing? Most gracious apartment owner. Will stay here again.

Beautiful apartment on the quiet island of Giudecca. Away from the busy streets of Venice

A bright and airy well equipped apartment easy to get to by water taxi. Excellent check in instructions from the owner especially as we arrived late at night. Giudecca is much quieter than the main areas of Venice so a welcome relief from the busy crowds around st Marks. The apartment was spacious and beautifully air conditioned, I would highly recommend it as a base for visiting Venice

Clean and well equipped apartment on Guidecca

The apartment is situated on Giudecca which is a more peaceful and relaxing place than some other areas of Venice. Plenty of local restaurants and shops and you can be in St Marks square in ten minutes. Cristina was very helpful and met us at the vaparetto stop to show us to the apartment. The only problem was that at the last minute we were a party of 4 not 3 and we were asked to pay extra for the fourth person. I thought we had paid for the whole apartment not per person. With the tourist tax as well we had to pay an additional 123 euros on arrival. Even so we had a good holiday and I would recommend the apartment and it's location

A Great Experience!

This was my first time in Venice and these hosts were exceptional!! Directions were very clear for arrival and then they really helped us understand getting around and where needed things were like a supermarket, etc. The apt was fantastic, spacious, comfortable and clean! A huge bonus for me was the washing machine after having been traveling for 2 weeks. Although not on the main island, we really appreciated the break from all of the crowds. It also felt a little bit more local and authentic. I would recommend to my family and friends in a heartbeat!

Spacious Apartment on Isle of Giudecca Away From Crowds

We were two couples staying in this apartment for three days post-cruise. It is spacious and conveniently located near the Hilton Stucky dock for waterbus by Alilaguna Line. Or a public dock is just down the street for using the ACTV waterbus for getting to San Marco or other areas of interest. We bought a 3-day City Pass which gave us unlimited use of the ACTV system for getting back and forth to San Marco area. The apartment was clean and Cristina was easy to work with. There are several restaurants down the street which we found convenient. I think we made the right choice in staying on the Isle of Giudecca away from the crowds in St. Marks' Square.

Great place to stay close to Venice sights, but on a much quieter less touristy area

We loved our stay in Giudecca. It was easy to get the boat every day and lovely to get back to a quiet area at the end of the day. The apartment was very clean and well supplied. The owner met us the first day at the boat dock. She was very nice and helpful during our stay. The beds were comfortable. There are many restaurants nearby and grocery store is near if you want to cook. We had a great time, would love to return.

Outstanding apartment with an excellent location - near it all but the feel of a neighborhood

I really enjoyed my stay at the Giudecca apartment. There were five women in our group, so it was important to us to have enough space to accommodate each in a separate bed as well as two showers. The apartment fit the description perfectly. The location is excellent! We enjoyed coming home to a more residential feeling. The hustle and bustle of Venezia is great, but having a breather from it (but not too far away) was ideal. The apartment was a very close walk to the ACTV water bus stop at Guidecca. In addition, the apartment felt like home. Given the easy directions to the grocery store and stocked cookware in the unit, we made our way to Coop a couple of times for breakfast foods, wine, and homemade dinner one night. There is a bakery nearby as well as cafes to enjoy. Christina and her husband make the place very enjoyable. There is an info binder that was a handy reference for us. Also, it was great to start our stay with some of the cooking staples left by others. We also left a few for others to share. The WiFi worked very well. I didn't stream anything, so I can not comment on video. The Guidecca apartment is an outstanding property. I hope to be able to visit again someday.

Perfect stay for a family

We stayed with 2 adults, 3 children (6yr, 4yr, and 2yr old in a cot) and 2 grandparents. Beautiful apartment close to ferry, supermarket, restaurants and small children's playground. Host, Cristina, was easy to contact, gave us a warm welcome and provided good recommendations for local restaurants. Highly recommend.

Excellent stay in Venice!

We very much enjoyed our holiday in the Stella Marina apartment. It was a great decision to stay on Giudecca instead of the larger island as it allowed a more peaceful stay.
