What a delightful stay we had at the Zuni house! The house is very clean and comfortable with updated amenities. Loved the King Bedroom, which not only had a comfy bed, but an en suite bathroom. The kitchen/dining room and living room are comfortable gathering spots for meals and hanging out. The pool was crystal clear and inviting (at least for one of our group--the rest of us were too chicken in the cool weather). The hosts were very responsive and the check in and check out directions were spot on. Highly recommended!

Getaway

My husband and I recently stayed at this house and we loved every minute of it! The pool was wonderful, and the style of the house made it feel extra special and relaxing.We loved being able to explore Ventura and other beautiful nearby towns and beaches — you definitely need to drive to get around, but everything was just a short trip away.It was so convenient being close to the downtown area and Trader Joe’s — I really appreciated having good food on hand during our stay.Getting in and out was easy, and we had everything we needed for a comfortable, fun getaway.Thank you for opening your lovely home to us! We’d happily recommend it to other couples and friends, and we’d love to come back!

Amazing getaway near downtown Ventura!

My sisters and I had a wonderful weekend at the immaculate property and enjoyed hanging by the pool taking walks on the bike path just across the main road from the property. From Comfortable beds to the equipped kitchen, this house afforded us a relaxing and lovely stay.

A true Oasis!!

Zuni is a wonderful place to stay, the house is stylish and really comfortable. As a family of 4 we were on a road trip through California and this was our respite stop, where we could have a few calm days. The house is decorated beautifully and has all the things you need for a stay in a holiday house. We desperately needed to wash our clothes after a good week of travelling - so to find 2 washing machines was a blessing. The pool is lovely and was enjoyed by our 2 teenage boys. The only slight issue for us was the state of the BBQ, which was pretty filthy before we used it. It was certainly left on a better condition than how we found it 😇 The location of the property was pretty good - easy driving distance to Santa Barbara and to the local beaches. All-in-all a great place to stay.

Family wedding get away

We had a wonderful stay at Zuni Tranquillo! The house is lovely and filled with beautiful artwork and artifacts. We had 6 adults staying there and we enjoyed ourselves immensely, the pool was the perfect place to relax. Close to the freeway and beach, wonderful food nearby. Great spot, thank you!

Perfect in every way

The property was even nicer than the pictures conveyed. Agota was super-communicative and made everything about the stay seamless and easy. It was perfect for our needs, and I can't think of a single thing to nitpick about. I would highly recommend this property if you are staying in the Ventura area. It's a great jumping-off point for Santa Barbara, Channel Islands, Ojai, Malibu, and of course, the Ventura area which is a great town with lots of good restaurants and a nice walkable downtown.

Cozy Oasis in Ventura

I chose to stay at Zuni Tranquillo because of the pool and the art and I'm glad that I did! The house felt like a cozy oasis. I was able to relax and enjoy the space with my family from the moment we stepped in the front door. The house was very clean and organized, which is important to me because I am a home organizer. I contacted Agota and she was very quick to respond. We would stay here again!

Lovely House, Plenty of Space

The house is very nice and well maintained. The decor is fun and eclectic. The house is well provisioned with a lot of extras you won't find in most VRBO's. One thing, this area of Ventura is not as nice as other areas. The house itself felt safe and there were no issues, but the adjacent main street is a little sketchy, and the local Von's is almost somewhere that I would recommend that you avoid. Don't let this sway you to not choose the house though - just be aware. The house is very close to the nicer part of town, and you would have no issue driving a little further to avoid the unsavory parts.

Zuni Stay

We went to Ventura/Ojai to celebrate my friend's 70th birthday. Zuni was the perfect place to have a girl's weekend. The home was terrific, decor was fabulous. We wanted a place that had a kitchen big enough to cook in, the Zuni kitchen was well-equipped and suited our needs perfectly. The beds were comfortable and everything was in great. Our hosts made our stay wonderful!

Great vacation in a great location

Our son lives in LA, our daughter lives in NY and we live in PA. We booked this house as a meeting point for all of us to enjoy a vacation together. The house is awesome. We didn’t get to use the pool as much as we would have liked, because even in July, it was chilly. We cooked on the grill and really enjoyed the house. We took several day trips. Twice to Santa Barbara. Once to Ojai where we visited the Ojai Olive Oil Company and the Old Creek Ranch and Winery. Both were beautiful and the olive oils/vinegars and the wines were delicious. I would highly recommend this VRBO to anyone.

We were on vacation in CA when our plans were forced to change at the last minute due to natural disasters and issues with previous lodging. We booked based solely on availability, the pictures, and a prayer that things would work out. This house was exactly as promised. Large enough for 2 teens and us to work and relax. An hour from LA for hiking and museums, less than 30 minutes to Ojai, and other cute towns and plenty of trails and beach. The pool was too chilly for us but was really nice to lay around. Nice coffee shop walking distance, but otherwise in slightly industrial area. The kitchen had lots of room and all the things needed to cook. Loved the coffee maker too. The hosts were responsive and helpful.

Perfect get away

It didn't have A/C unit(They did had some individual in the closets for us to use, We leave in TN so we are use to have A/C unit all the time😊)but other than that it was, the perfect get away we love and cleanness was perfect it equipped for our get away.
