I stayed once prior for work and I was pleased with my experience. I thought I would make this a reoccurring place. This stay was frustrating… despite room being dated with a cracked sink and broken tub drain, the shower had hair in it, and I had to park on the street which caused a bit of a safety concern. The bed was comfortable, the front desk was professional. I genuinely wondered if I was given a poor suite bc I went through a secondary source such as Expedia.

I always enjoy staying at Holiday Inn Express locations. They are comfortable and affordable, and the included breakfast is a great bonus. I didn't use the pool or hot tub, so I can't comment on the condition of those. But I would like to discuss the shower. The spray head had too much water pressure if that is even possible. Water was going everywhere and I'm pretty sure it could remove paint from a car! Perhaps installing some flow controls would solve this. Other than that issue, my stay was great.

The lady’s on breakfast duty would always wipe tables as soon as possible when someone left so others had a clean table. The jets in the hot tub didn’t work. Clean room.

Many electrical outlets did not work and phone was not connected which the front desk was nonchalant about when a complaint was made. Breakfast selection was good and beds comfortable. For a 2 night stay it was adequate.

This place is undergoing renovation and they’re trying to keep renting rooms that are absolutely substandard. Chip bathtubs broken cracked an old amenities and they’re still charging a premium rate during construction. Their Expedia rating is false advertising. I would never have stayed here.

Sadly I was really disappointed as my experience with HIE has always been good. No where on Expedia did it say the hotel was under renovation, with building supplies littered throughout the hotel, in corridors, mattresses on stairs and in the corner of the swimming pool. worst of all I found a circular saw left unattended by a plug and completely open for kids to find! I reported it to reception! Pretty disgusted all around. The breakfast was not pleasant with rubbery food and the hotel has made zero attempt to be environmentally friendly with eye watering amount of waste. I will say our room was comfortable, so ultimately that is important! Oh and the wifi didn’t work!!!

The room was clean. Breakfast was good. Everything was good and comfortable. Unfortunately, the pool had an open valve (where they put the chemicals to clean the pool) that caught my daughter’s foot which caused a cut on her foot. When we talked to the staff, they just said that it shouldn’t be open and didn’t show any concern 🙁
