I was a little skeptical when I first arrived but my stay was wonderful. My room looked over the pool area and there was plenty of parking. Breakfast was small but enough to tide me over until lunch. The sheets and towels were all clean. They do allow pets but only in certain rooms. I didn’t have a pet during my stay. I would recommend for anyone looking for a budget option in Fort Pierce.

I booked because of the reviews and this place was nothing like the reviews. My room was at the side of a truck stop with the noise of the refrigerated trucks at night. The floor tile was sticky and I had to keep my shoes on in the room. I kept the bathroom door closed because of the sewer smell coming up from the bathtub, which did not drain well. When a neighbor used their bathroom I heard bubbling from my bathroom. There are families living in the motel with their small kids playing in the parking lot during the day. I witnessed footballs bouncing off parked vehicles. The walls are thin and I heard various fights during my stay. One wash clothe and towel was dirty and both had been used. The microwave in the room was disgusting and I never risked using it. The oversized piece of furniture in front of the TV was crazy big and made walking between it and the bed a side shuffle. After rereading the reviews I saw one person positively reviewing this property over and over again. This is the worst place I have ever stayed and the first negative review I have ever left in my life. I waited a week for my $100 deposit to be put back before happily leaving a negative review of this place. I should have left the first day but I had business in the area and all hotels were full because of the Daytona 500. I did a 10 day stretch without a change of towels or bedsheets, room cleaning, bathroom tissues or a knock at the door from a maid.

We called 2 days before arriving to arrange a late checkin between 2-3am. They said no problem someone would be there and late checkin is ok. We arrived at the hotel at 2am to find the front office locked and a no vacancy sign. Tried calling the hotel several times with no answer. Contacted hotels.com support who said all they can do is try to call the hotel. So we spent the next 2 hours driving and trying to find somewhere to stay as most in the area were fully booked. Ended up spending even more money at a crummy hotel and hardly getting any sleep. Hotels.com eventually refunded us for the original booking after getting approval from “at home inn”. Very poor experience with both hotels.com and at home inn.

This room was so bad we only stayed one of the four nights we paid for and it was non-refundable. We didn’t have extra money but had no choice but to find lodging elsewhere. We are still waiting to see if there will be an additional refund as promised from the front desk. TBD… We had to wipe down the room. Both beds were super saggy and looked and felt like springs wrapped in a mattress pad. No continental breakfast to speak of. This is a “refurbished” motel but no real upgrades. I feel a lot of the reviews for this motel are from people thinking they are referencing the Home 2 hotel.

The room was just okay. The mini frig was rusty and the freezer had ice chunks all over the bottom and it had not been cleaned out. The microwave inside door had leftover food crusted on it. The remote controls were grimey. But the worst part was there was no way to lock the room from the inside. It made us feel unsafe. The reviews I read before booking were all great but recent reviews indicated that the police had been called a few times for disturbances. And apparently transient people live there. This is not your typical hotel. The only good things were the bed was comfortable and the price was good. But I would not stay here again. I feel the listing information was misleading.
