Night manager was respectful, professional and very helpful. I was wrapping holiday gifts and he gladly offered use of the lobby tree. I'm forgetful with names but he was a great help and handled a dissatisfied customer with the utmost respect and calm demeanor.
I got to my room and it smelled like wet dog. I didnât know this but there are no rooms set aside as pet only. I was told at the front desk we are a pet friendly hotel. This will be my last time staying at a Home 2 hotel.
I spoke with Nathalie, the on-site hotel manager, and requested a full refund due to several issues with the room. The room was not clean, there was a leak, the bathroom was filthy, and the fire alarm sounded at 7:00 AM.
She advised that the funds were returned to Expedia and that I would need to submit a refund request in order for the amount to be credited back to me.

Every time I visit family in Stuart we stay in this hotel. Itâs clean, quiet and the convenience of having refrigerator, microwave and a sitting area in the room is great. This time I realized there was a washer and dryer downstairs so one night when we stayed in I did a load of laundry and didnât have to do it when I got home! Breakfast was also pretty good and comes with the stay. Will definitely stay again!
