We visited this beach front apartment in early August, and it was a great base for exploring the local area. Be prepared for a steep uphill walk to the train station (or take the local bus that runs every half hour) but from there you can reach all of the major attractions (Pompeii, Vesuvius, Herculaneum, Sorrento, Mount Faito) quickly and cheaply without having to brave the roads.
The apartment itself is lovely - the air conditioning works very well, inside is quiet, and the terrace is a lovely relaxing place overlooking the sea and the beach with great views. It is comfortable and well equipped - even with 5 (one on the sofa bed) we had enough space, although 4 people would be more comfortable. And the wifi was good.
Bianca and her family are very friendly, helpful and accommodating, being close by but in no way intrusive. The welcome pack of food was a lovely touch, and the homemade marmalade and limoncello were special. The local town has some good places to eat, and is less touristy than nearby Sorrento.
Overall a great location, a wonderful apartment, and we would definitely return.
