within walking distance to Landstraße City Airport Train and S-Bahn/U-Bahn. However the room is extremely small and have no view at all (by no view it means the windows are blocked) The design of walk-in shower is transparent (made with glass) and can be seen from the sleeping area, which my friend and I feel super embarrassed when using it. And if you are of bigger size, don’t even think of using the walk-in shower. It is just a small cubicle and it only has a lil gap from the door for you to get in. The location of the reception is weird too. It locates on the 2nd floor where it is also a bar restaurant. What makes it worse is: there are some staircases going downwards to the reception. This is very inconvenient for travellers w/luggage but if you are only with a backpack you would be fine. The pricing for our stay is around €200/night. It is on a Saturday but it is not worth for the €200. Would avoid this hotel if I were you.

War bereits das zweite Mal da, denke es wird leider kein drittes Mal mehr. Es gibt viele Kleinigkeiten die zu Reparieren sind und was extrem stört ist der sehr starke Kanalgeruch aus dem Abfluss von Dusche und WC. War in beiden Zimmern so. Würde ich nicht mehr buchen. Leider. Sonst Restaurant und Frühstück und auch Lage sind sehr gut.

We loved this place. Comfy. Great breakfast. Quiet part of town but just few a minutes walk to Ubahn and airport train. Double espressos served with joy. Amelia, Raul, Julia and others were delightful. Back next year!

Great base for exploring Vienna + friendly staff

This is a great base for exploring Vienna with Wien Mitte just up the road to get you pretty much anywhere. Direct train from the airport on the CAT. Really friendly staff. Good shower. Compact room but not too small. An interesting hotel with a huge ornate concert room in the middle of it.

Ruby Sofie Hotel in Vienna has a fascinating history! Originally built as a bathhouse, it was later transformed into a concert hall due to its outstanding acoustics. Over the years, it hosted performances by legends like Johann Strauss and even The Kinks. Today, the hotel blends vintage furnishings with modern stage lighting, creating a unique atmosphere. It offers soundproofed rooms, rain showers, and aromatherapy products for relaxation. The bar is open 24/7, serving cocktails and regional specialities, often accompanied by live music from local artists. Its location is also a highlight—near the Danube Canal and Ringstrasse boulevard, just an eight-minute walk from Wien Mitte railway station. Sounds like a place with character. At that moment, everything was perfect, with nothing to complain about.
