Disliked: Check-in, communication, listing accuracy
1) The host did NOT speake English despite claiming on their profile -- we did not speak French so communication was impossible from the start to the end - they made NO effort to try speak English with us, which is what their profile claimed2) We were 5 people and did not have shower towels for every person AND one bed was missing the duvet - I notified the host via the app immediately after we checked in, we did never get a duvet and we got towels only after 2 days of staying there3) The kitchen was so poorly equipped it was embarrassing - it clearly felt like all the old and unused dishes and utensils and pots from the host's house were dumped in this vrbo. We did not have a single lid for a pot so we could barely cook - we also told the host about this immediately and were given one extra lid after 2 or 3 days of staying there; There also wasn't enough dish soap and just overall the kitchen was in a bad shape - gas stove but no lighters available - what kind of joke is that?4) Due to the lack of English from the host we were unable to use the pool or the bbq - we ended up buying all our own supplies for making one bbq, which is ridiculous given it's advertised as included in the stay5) This may appear like it's isolated and quiet, but the host lives just across in the "main building" and there was someone else staying in the same house as us just on opposite sides AND another couple checked into a flat in the main building also while we stayed....again, very misleading
