The staff was friendly, and our room was clean—those were the two positives. Unfortunately, several issues made our stay less than comfortable: 1. The rooms are very small, and the walls are paper-thin. 2. Noise was a constant problem. We could clearly hear conversations, TV, and even sneezing from the room next door. Their alarm going off at 5:30 AM woke us up every single day. 3. Parking is a nightmare. There are only a few tight spots available, and anything larger than a compact car is a struggle. The overflow parking across the street is essentially an uneven dirt lot. Overall, definitely not worth the price.

Pretty decent place

The rooms are renovated and clean however our room smelled of fish. No room service was provided for our 2 day stay. The staff is not very accommodating. The coffee machine was broken. Most people who came with us in the morning checked in early but we were made to wait a long time even though the cleaners were in the room early to clean. Overall good.

Stay on Marthas Vineyard for Jaws 50th Celebration

Really good value hotel in a great location with a private beach. Personally I never got to take full advantage of the private beach but my wife and kids enjoyed it. Had a good but noisy air con unit in the room which kept room at a respectable temperature. Could have done with an extra day on the island and to enjoy the beach a bit more but had to rush off on the monday morning due to a rescheduled activity in Boston before flying home. A truly great experience

Vineyard Haven stay

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The beach was nice and clean. They even showed Jaws on a screen outside on the beach one night! Location is great in Vineyard Haven. Walking distance to everything.

Wonderful, welcoming staff! Loved the private beach with outdoor lounge chairs and the beautiful courtyard. Great location to catch one of the free VTA buses right out front every 15 mins. Walkable to shops, restaurants, the Martha’s Vineyard Museum and the Vineyard Haven ferry terminal. Nice more quiet part of the island without the crazy traffic or too much busyness which we enjoyed. I didn’t end up getting the exact room I booked, but I feel like that’s more on Expedia than the Motel. Book directly with the motel online and check their available promos on their website for a better experience. 10/10 would recommend!

It was a amazing weekend. Went for Jaws 50th Anniversary. Reception was amazing, very nice and helpful. Room very clean and very cute. Comfortable. Once small issue handled immediately. Close to free buses. Private beach. Would definitely recommend and definitely go again!!

Staff and management were great and very helpful and friendly . Our room was dated and the walls paper thin ,at one point we woke up thinking someone was walking in our room. You could not hold a private conversation in the room without the occupant next door hearing every word . The view out of the window was a metal roof from the property next door . Only plus points were close to ferry and bus stops and small bit of beach to sit on.

A little get away

Staff was excellent. They let us check in early as we took a very early boat. Staff very friendly including offering suggestions on where to go and where to eat. The motel is undergoing renovations. We were on the second floor that had been renovated. Bottom floor and outside of motel need to be updated desperately. Location was amazing. Sitting on the beach in the Adirondack chairs was breathtaking
