Stunning Bay Views & Perfect Layout at Chick’s Beach!Rating: Our family had a wonderful stay! Being on the bay side, we loved the peaceful sound of the waves and the incredible views. Having three separate outdoor spaces was a huge plus for us, and having three bathrooms made it very comfortable for the whole family.The check-in and check-out process was incredibly easy. We also really appreciated how prompt the host was when a neighbor accidentally blocked our parking space—they handled it immediately!A quick heads-up for future guests: staying right on the bay comes with some natural 'beach house' characteristics. You should expect some wind, tight parking, and the typical wear and tear that comes with salt air. The stairs are steep and the rooms have that classic beach cottage slant. We expected these quirks and didn't mind them at all, but they are good to know for planning.If you come with the right attitude, you’ll love this property as much as we did. We’d definitely stay again!

We had a great weekend at this home. It was the perfect size for our family. It was nice to be able to walk out the door and be on the beach. We played cards games on the outdoor patio. The quiet neighborhood was wonderful. We were able to walk to several restaurants and it was just a short drive to many more dining options. The home was well stocked with supplies, including coffee, filters, shampoo, toilet paper, trash bags... we didn't need to bring anything. The only negative was the very tight parking. We had small SUV type vehicles and it was fine, but tight. We will definitely book again if we are back in the area.

Weekend Getaway!

The location of the condo was amazing - walk out right on to the beach & in the water. There are a couple restaurants that were walkable. Recommend HK on the Bay! Overall, a wonderful relaxing weekend!

Nice property

Very nice property wonderful views, the owner was very responsive and communicated well.The only issue we had was parking. The listing says that two cars can park there, but we could barely fit a small SUV in the garage and had to have two people to help watch as we tried to get in and out of the garage. The second parking area was slightly larger, but still very tight.

Family get away

The house was amazing checking in was easy and the veiw was amazing. The hoat checked in before and during and after our stay they reaponded almost emediatly to our texts and we will stay again when we visit the grandkids next year . Would recomend this to any family or couple who juat needs to get away for abit

Fantastic Family Vacation

This property was absolutely perfect for our family vacation with our 2.5 year old and 6 month old. The beach access made all the difference and the location was gorgeous. My only complaint would be that the check in was too late and the checkout was too early. But that’s because we enjoyed ourselves and the property so much!

Tight Squeeze

The property is great regarding its location to the beach and the area. We didn't know in advance that the driveway and parking area were so tight. Wouldn't be bad with a small/medium sized car, but very difficult with a large SUV. I didn't see anything in the VRBO description about the restricted parking situation.

Nice Stay

The house was clean and stocked with essentials. Nice views of the beach and water and even saw dolphins swimming by in the early mornings. Beach chairs and other beach items available was a plus. Only negative that didn't impact us would be parking. Definitely tight if you have 2 vehicles. I don't think two larger size SUV's would work. I have a Traverse and struggled to park in the garage, so I just parked in front afraid to do damage to both my vehicle and house. It was a quick 15 minute drive to Virginia Beach. We enjoyed our stay!

Everything advertised was exactly what I received. My family and I were pleasantly pleased with the cleanliness of the entire property from furniture to flooring and bathrooms. My daughter loved the bunk beds! The sunrise view from the home was resplendent!!

Beautiful views

We enjoyed the beautiful views out of most rooms (3 levels)! The neighborhood was nice, with an easy walk to Buoy 44. The beach was beautiful, with areas to walk in both directions from the house. The deck furniture was in good condition. The mattresses were comfortable. The sectional couch had a perfect view of the ocean and waves hitting the sand - first time we’ve experienced that from the couch!
