Night shift front desk girl was great. Room was great. Did have a slow drain in shower. Room was nice, beautiful oceanfront view with chairs on balcony. Parking is rough at times, but they do have another lot across the street in the alley which isn’t far from the hotel. The area around the hotel is nice, there are restaurants across the street. We ate at Chix on the beach 2 days in a row, short drive towards the busier end of the boardwalk….we probably could have walked it. The shrimp, crab legs, and hush puppies are sooo good but be prepared to pay a hefty bill. The only complaint I have is the pop machines need Sierra Mist or coke products. And the hallways need a little paint and more appeal, but I can deal with those things for what I paid. Went on a Friday night, checked out on a Sunday (October) and paid 265. (2 nights) definitely stay here. I’ll be back for sure.

Ocean view was great! Wished the balcony could have been enclosed or private. Neighbors were out almost naked my kids couldn't really have enjoyed it. Overall good.

Booked for a one night layover before a golf trip. Oceanfront on the promenade for $100 was the reason why I booked despite the reviews. I was in the room for less than 12-hours. The building and facilities are extremely dated. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. My room was decent and clean. No evidence of bed bugs or any other nasties. A friend who also stayed was not so fortunate as he was checked into a dirty room with used feminine products and other uncleanliness. Room was obviously not cleaned for turnover but was marked as such in their system. Staff immediately rectified. Ok for what I needed but I wouldn’t do much more than that.

The hotel is in an excellent location. All of the rooms have balconies overlooking the ocean. The sunrises are beautiful! We even saw dolphins one morning. The hotel needs updating. The room was mostly clean. There was black mold on one of the lampshades. Our trip was in October so the rates were much lower. I would have been mad if I had paid in season rates for the room.

Showers are not good for tall people. Awful pillows. Indoor pool was difficult to access. Pool area had not been cleaned the night before- had cigarette butts and used pool towels at the tables. There weren’t clean towels for guests using the pool. Staff were friendly at desk. Odd folks hanging around entrance smoking cigarettes all morning. Not a good vibe- especially since we had young children. Quick beach access and convenient store below.

Ocean Resort room 324 review

The room was adequate, bathroom was small and the door stuck closed and had signs of multiple repairs, Patio was small, it stayed damp from A/c condensate and had two cheap plastic chairs, There were two Hoffman beer trucks parked outside that were very noisy, they ran 24 hours a day the whole time we were there and you couldn't hear anything else. The couch was old and broken down and needed replacing. The outside hallway was very hot and had no means for ventilation. Definitely not a $250 a night room! Parking was minimal on site. I am Handi capped with proper plates and tags, there were 6 Handi capped sites filled with improper cars and no valet parking. Overfill parking was a block away behind another business.

Great view of the ocean. This is the 6th year we have stayed during the Neptune festival. It is central licated for the event. Would recommend this site to anyone looking for a good clean, friendly location. Will stay again next year. Loved it!

This hotel is on the boardwalk at 24th street which is really nice. Easy access to the beach it is also near the beach wheelchairs rental. The room was clean. The light fixture in the bathroom was not working. The water pressure in the shower is really low but overall this is a nice place to stay. I would stay on the 3rd or 4th floor as the elevator takes along time to get to the 7th floor!! But it is a nice view!
