Ocean Key Resort is located on the serene, South End of the boardwalk, offering a relaxing getaway for families. No matter which direction you look, you’ll enjoy amazing scenes for the perfect vacation photos. Enjoy the sunrise over the Atlantic Ocean or enjoy views of the marina and Rudee Inlet from the 3rd floor hospitality deck.

You will also find numerous restaurant options within short walking distance, along with Roma's New York Style Pizza and Italian restaurant onsite.

THE SPACE

This 1BR/1BA unit (sleeps 4) has a King Size bed, Kitchen with full size Refrigerator, Stove, Dishwasher, Microwave, and Coffee Maker, etc. Dining table and chairs, Living Room with Queen Sleeper sofa, and large bathroom.

This specific unit does not have a balcony but does have a view of the Ocean from the bedroom window. However, Ocean Key provides a large indoor lounge area and nice outdoor lounges on the 3rd floor. So there is plenty of outdoor seating for relaxing with coffee in the mornings or cocktails in the evening.

Guests can use the Indoor Pool, relax in the Hot Tub, or work out in the gym. Free beach towels you can exchange daily.

There is a great game room and activity center for the kids. And Grommet Park is an oceanfront playground within a short walking distance from the facility.

Roma's New York Style Pizza and Italian, a casual dining restaurant onsite with indoor and outdoor seating, is connected to the Ocean Key Resort building. There are some additional excellent dining options within a short walking distance from your unit, including the very highly rated Waterman's Surfside Grille located directly across the street from the property. Mahi's and Maison's Lobster Rolls are just a short walk away. And there are also a number of additional restaurants nearby or located at the Marina / Rudee's Inlet.

The Ocean Breeze Water Park is within a 5-minute drive of the property and is a lot of fun for families or couples.

Please note that this listing includes multiple weeks available. The photos reflect the interiors of several different units you might be assigned, depending on which specific week you book. However, these units all have the same basic floorplan, with the general decor and layout reflected in the photos. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

GUEST ACCESS

This is a Resort Hotel property. So Guests will have their own private 1BR/1BA unit, but common Amenities (Pool, Gym, 3rd floor Roof deck, etc) will be shared with other guests.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE

- Primary Guest checking in must be at least 21 years of age with a valid ID and credit card for security deposit. Unfortunately, there are no exceptions to this minimum age requirement for the primary Guest who will be checking in. Your security deposit will be returned to you after Check Out if you have not made any charges to your room.

- Ocean Key is professionally managed and operated by VSA Resorts. The Front Desk is staffed 24/7 for Check-In, Check-Out, and is available for any questions, issues, or need for assistance.

- Please note that once you Check In and get access to your unit, if you encounter any issues or concerns regarding Housekeeping, Maintenance, etc…please contact the Front Desk / Office immediately. The staff members on-site provide the best opportunity to get any concerns resolved in the fastest and most efficient manner. They are there to help so please don’t hesitate to contact them during your stay.

- Please note that some of the photos may not be from the specific unit you will be assigned. However, they do reflect the general layout you can expect from various locations in the unit.

- One (1) FREE parking spaces provided per unit rental. Additional parking spots are available for an additional fee paid directly at the Front Desk. If you have a large SUV, the turns in the parking garage can be a little tight, however they can be successfully managed.

- Paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, soaps, shampoos, etc. are all provided. If you need more during your stay, you can contact the Front Desk and they can provide them. We have never personally had an issue receiving the supplies we needed. There are also grocery stores conveniently located within a few minutes from the facility if you want to shop for any groceries or personal items you want during your stay.

- Bedding linens, Blankets, Pillows are provided, as are Bath and Hand towels. If you need additional items or want fresh bedding linens or towels during your stay, please contact the Front Desk. Although bedding linens, blankets, and pillows are provided, you may want to bring some of your own if you have a favorite pillow or blanket.

- If you plan on using the Sleeper sofa during your stay, I do personally recommend (if possible) bringing sheets, blankets, pillows, maybe even a mattress pad for the Sleeper sofa specifically, which can be turned into a very comfortable extra bed. It's not required to bring your own linens for the Sleeper sofa, but something that we do personally.

- Linens can be exchanged for fresh ones every day (if desired) on the first (4th) floor. An Attendant will be in the Linen Exchange room to help, or if the Attendant is not there, just go to the Front Desk and they will assist. There should also be an extra package of linens in the closet of each room.

- There are FREE usage Laundry Rooms located on the 6th and 8th floors. However, you must provide your own detergent.

- Pool towels are provided for FREE and are available in the Pool area. They can also be exchanged for fresh ones on an unlimited basis at the Front Desk. However, if you or your family owns and likes the larger and more luxurious Beach Towels, I recommend bringing them.

- For trash disposal during your stay, there are utility rooms with trash chutes located on every floor. Just open the door and drop your trash bag down the chute. If you need more trash bags you can request those as well from the Front Desk.

- Ice Machines are located on every floor

- You should plan on bringing your own Beach Blankets / Chairs / Umbrellas / Equipment you want at the beach. If you don’t bring your own Beach Chairs, Umbrellas, Equipment, etc., you can rent them on the beach out in front of the facility.

- If you or any members of your family enjoy bike riding, I strongly recommend taking your own bikes (if you have the means to do so). Virginia Beach was designed with a special bike path along the Boardwalk to cater to bike riders. It's possible to use bikes as your main means of transportation during the week to travel up and down the Boardwalk, and around town. Remember to take your bike locks so you can lock up your bikes at the bike rack each night.

- There is a Virginia Beach Coupon booklet available pretty much everywhere in vending type machines along Atlantic Ave, including the Front Desk / Lobby at pretty much all the properties in VB. In this booklet you can find some coupons that offer decent discounts on food, entertainment, and equipment purchases (like bike rentals if you are not able to bring your own).

- Once reservations are confirmed, you will be asked for the name and address of the main guest who will check in (the resort's Front Desk will also ask for this information when you check in, but obtaining this information beforehand will expedite the check in process) along with an email address to receive a personal confirmation.
