Upon arrival this property had several deficiencies. Cleanliness and Maintenance ConcernsThe wine cooler/ice maker in the dining area was dirty. There was also an odor in the kitchen that we later determined was coming from leftover food in both sink garbage disposals.The kitchen utensils, pots, and pans were extremely worn and, in some cases, appeared close to unusable. Several windows throughout the property were dirty or damaged, which obstructed the views from multiple rear-facing rooms. This was particularly disappointing because the views were one of the primary reasons we selected this property.There was also a large stain on the carpet in the mid-level living room area.Safety and Security ConcernsThe front entrance lights did not work, and the exterior lights on the deck outside the pool room area were also inoperable. Several exterior light fixtures were broken or missing bulbs.The deck-access stairs from the first rear-facing king bedroom on the mid-level were broken. Had we not noticed this, it could have created a trip-and-fall hazard for our family. We had to instruct family members not to use those stairs.The mid-level deck also had loose deck boards, loose railing, and dirty deck furniture.On the bottom level, the exit doors to the outside could not be locked, and the bunk room window lock was broken. These issues created significant security concerns.
