What a nice cottage! We were only able to be there for one night, but greatly enjoyed it. It was so clean and well setup. Very comfortable. Bed was great. Set up with anything we might need and a perfect place to unwind after a busy day. We did not cook dinner but the kitchen was well equipped that we easily could have. Hope we will be able to get back there again soon.
We totally enjoyed our stay. We especially liked the 2 separate bedrooms with private bathrooms.House was very clean and well stocked.I would definitely stay there again.
This is such a great stay! Itâs exactly as pictured/described. Location is excellent for access to Volcano National Park. House is well stocked. Would 10/10 recommend!
This place has everything you could think youâd need. You feel like youâre truly in the middle of a rainforest, itâs private and quiet. We loved our stay here and if we go back we will look for this cabin again.
All of the amenities for a good stay in Volcano were provided by the Host. We enjoyed our time visiting Kilauea Volcano and the area around the Volcano National Park. Truly Volcano is beautiful area.
Great little 2 bedroom house in the forest. Very quiet and really enjoyable to sit on the front porch and listen to the rain and tree frogs. Couple of miles from Volcanos NP. Perfect for
Perfectly set up for staying near the entrance to Volcanoes NP. If you stock up on groceries before leaving Kailua-Kona or Hilo the large kitchen is well-equipped for cooking meals.
Wonderful cottage nestled in a rainforest setting, far back from the road. It was clean, comfortable, ample towels and bedding/blankets. Every room had night lights and switches were clearly labeled. Perfect for two couples, matching en-suite bedrooms. And so close to Hawaii Volcanoes NP, made it easy for us to be there early. Sorry we didn't plan a longer stay.
We loved our stay at this cute bungalow near Kilauea Volcano. It had a sweet mountain cabin feel with all the amenities youâd need. The grounds are well kept and nice for a short early morning stroll. The bungalow is a 5 min drive away from Volcano visitor center too!
Loved having a home away from home on the big island. We explored the Hilo side from here for a few days. Place is well situated for visiting National Park. We went to see eruption multiple times in a day. Two full bathrooms in mirrored split plan home. Our bed was very comfortable and bedroom is carpeted which was nice during chilly mornings. We would recommend a stay. This is not a fancy high end accommodation. It is clean, comfy and homey. Reminded me of my grandparentsâ vacation home.
We have stayed at several. VRBO rentals in the last 3 years. This one is heads and shoulders above sll others. The bedrooms were comfortable, TV was easy to use. And the location was central to all .activities Everything
We are local residents and needed a place to stay while repairs were done at our home. We chose this cottage as it was nearby and convenient for us. The home was clean and neat and had everything we needed. We did call the property manager once during our stay - the battery in the smoke detector died and needed replacement. It happened very late in the afternoon and we didn't want to deal with a beeping smoke detector all night. It didn't take long for Dwayne to arrive and replace the battery. He didn't seem at all upset for the late call. Thank you, Dwayne! We would recommend this property if you are looking to stay close to the National Park or if you just want a nice, quiet and comfy place for a get-away. Mahalo for letting us stay at your lovely home!
We had to To make some last-minute changes to our trip so we decided to split it up by spending one half of it on the Kona side and the other half on the volcano side. This place is a true gem. Quiet and secluded it was the perfect place for us. It was our first time traveling long distance without kids. I loved being able to go outside at night and just look up and see all the stars so clearly. While we are on this side of the island, we spent some time at the volcano, walking the trails and then some of it down in Hilo. Depending on where youâre coming from just make sure you stop and get groceries before you get there. Otherwise thereâs a market not too far from there in the village. Would definitely recommend this for families or people who like to explore.
We enjoyed our stay at this lovely house in the forest a few miles from the Kīlauea entrance to the national park. Beautiful landscaping and a great equipped house. Perfect for families.
