Dissatisfied with hotel

The bathtub was dirty, uneven, the sink in the bathroom splashed water everywhere when you turned on the faucet, the floor was uneven and we tripped over it walking in the room, the tv had a chip and did not have a clear picture, the front door did lock but was loose fitting when closed, they didn't finish remodeling the bathroom needed the strip out side the bathtub. This hotel needs some remodeling done, the pillow cases were dirty and so were the sheets.

Manager was nice, switch rooms for us. Room was clean, but getting there had to step over wires on walking path, steps need repair, garbage outside was over flowing, Place needs a serious make over WACO leaves a lot to be desired, suggest staying 30 to 40 minutes north or south of town and just drive in, not worth the added cost to be in WACO

My recent stay at Days Inn was OK, though the room was a bit dated. However, the numerous steps to access the room, some without handrails, created an unsafe environment, contributing to an accident within our group.

Not what I expected

The front desk staff were great. The stairwell and inside hallway are in need of repair and update. The bathroom / tub area had molding missing from the floor. There was a 1" gap between the bottom of the door and floor which let light in from the hallway. There were what appeared to be cigarette burns on the carpet and bathtub. The staff was great, the location was fine, but the rooms need some attention.

I felt like it needed to be updated & felt run down. We asked for more towels & did not receive them. Some of the tables in the breakfast area weren't very stable. Tripping hazard by the pool. You can't access the main office except by going around to the front of the building. When we arrived, there was someone on the outside of the office who made us feel unsafe. We did not encounter that person again during our visit.

Good times in Waco

Quick checking in, settled in our room quickly. Very quiet, and in the morning a beautiful breakfast. The smoke alarm was doing that beep on the battery needs to be changed, when we first got into the room. Call down to the desk and battery was changed in less than 5 minutes.
