This stay was disappointing and not what was represented.Upon arrival, the unit had not been properly cleaned: floors had sand and dirt, bedsheets had sand and hair, and the bathroom contained personal items left behind by previous guests. The stove was visibly dirty with grease residue.We contacted the host immediately. Despite claims that a cleaning crew was used, the condition of the unit upon arrival did not reflect a cleaned or guest-ready space.Multiple serious issues affecting hygiene, safety, and basic usability remained unresolved:1) Bathroom door has no lock, which is unacceptable for basic privacy2) Black mold on the bathroom mat3) Shower temperature fluctuates sharply between very hot and cold, making it unsafe to use4) Shower curtain is too short, causing water to spill onto the floor5) Toilet was leaking on arrival (we had to fix it ourselves)6) Stove was unusable — grease buildup on all burners caused smoke when turned onWe documented everything with photos and messages. The concerns were largely dismissed, and we were told to clean further ourselves using a coin-operated washer/dryer, which is not a substitute for proper pre-arrival cleaning.These were not minor issues and significantly impacted our stay.We are leaving this review so future guests can make an informed decision. Based on our experience, we would not stay here again.
