We had the honor to be the first to be a guest of a wonderful cabin and host. The check in process was easy and the host was very easy to
communicate with before checking in. She explained that there was some construction going on but there were no surprises. (The construction seems to be mostly done and did not affect our weekend at all)
When we arrived the first thing noticed was the beautiful view from the back and inside the cabin with the huge picture window. The lot is large and it felt like a private cabin, we have been to other cabins where the neighbors seem right on top of you. The kitchen was completely stocked and had everything to make any meal easy. We enjoyed all our meals overlooking the lake.
The first night, we experienced some very strong storms and our hosts property lost a couple tree. She got lucky compared to some neighbors. The next morning we were without power but the neighbors stopped by and made sure we were ok. More importantly our host was willing to do anything for us and she was about three hours away. She volunteered to bring us a generator, ice and to obviously check on her place. We told her everything was ok but still wanted to help, and who could blame her. In the end she had another neighbor stop by and by that time we had power and all was good except for trees that fell.
The rest of the three night weekend was fantastic. We spent hours at the two docks on site and caught Sunnies, Bass, and other small fish. The stairs down could be a little tough but there is another nice path down. As mentioned we ate all our meals by the picture window and enjoyed the beautiful view. At night we had a fire and talked with music and never felt like we were bugging anyone.
We were very happy with our weekend and would come back in the future. The host was amazing, kind and very attentive. I hope anyone who visits this cabin has a weekend like ours (Without the severe storms).
