Home was clean and roomy for a family friendly stay. It was equipped with all necessities. Beds were very comfortable. The host was in contact and easy to reach out to if needed. The entire family said they would stay here again. The only suggestion the family had was the house could have used more kitchen dish rags and kitchen towels.

The location of this rental is ideal! We could walk so many places and our extended family as well as other attractions were all minutes away. We used the kitchens as well as made burgers and roasted marshmallows over the fire pit. Everything you need is here! The parking is the only draw back, but we made it work! We will definitely be back again!

Beautiful home with the perfect view of the hillsides. The home was spacious enough to accommodate our large family and grandchildren. Home was very clean. Sufficient cookware, two kitchens. Could use more dishes and silverware for the larger families. Microwave on the main floor was inoperable so there was no overhead fan to circulate the fumes from the gas stove. Beautiful patio and backyard for the kids to run around in. Walking distance to Der Dutchman. Playground, baseball fields, and basketball court at the school right across the street was open for the kids to play.Rooms could use ceiling fans and one room did not have a light in it. If you like firm pillows, bring your own. The pillows started off firm but were flat about half way through the night. Could use a recliner but that's a personal preference. Beds were comfy and plenty of comforters and blankets for everyone.Overall wonderful stay and would highly recommend to others.

Amazing but Difficult Time with Parking

I loved my stay! I had everything I needed and it was close to all the places and shops I wanted to go to in both Berlin and Walnut Creek! The only bad thing was parking. Parking in the driveway was extremely difficult and it was very narrow. It would be helpful to have somewhere else to park instead. I will also say it’s be renovated. There are three beds now so you could have up to 4 people stay!

Great property & location. Close enough to shops/restaurants, but also quiet. Cute place that I would definitely book again! Owners werw very easy - check in & out was a breeze. Parking a bit tight if other space & cottage on property is occupied.

So Relaxing!

We loved this cottage, so much that we booked it for another night! The property owner was very kind and helped us very quickly with an issue that was not his fault. He reached out to VRBO and got us a resolution! A very relaxing get away, very close to everything we needed and wanted to see and do. We will be booking again soon!

Mother-Daughter Getaway

This was a beautiful and central location to all the places we wanted visit in Amish Country. Nicely decorated. Very clean. We would have lit the wood burning stove for the ambience, but it was too warm in the room to want to add heat.

Cutest Apartment in Amish Country!

I really, really loved this stay! First, the communication with the owners was outstanding. We wanted to arrive a little before 4 and they were very accommodating. The details for arrival were very easy to follow and the checklist wasn't too crazy (some of these places ask you to do way too much before you leave). The parking is a little tricky as it is pretty steep and tight but we made it work! The views are just spectacular! Inside was the best decorated VRBO place I've stayed at thus far. I kind of wish they would come and decorate my place haha. We had no issue with the upstairs controlling the heat/cold. Would definitely stay here again!

Nice place

Very spacious with all the comfort of home. Location was great and was very clean. This is a unit below the owners house so you can hear people above somewhat. It did not bother us though and still felt private enough. We would stay again.

Well kept apartment

Parking was a little tight but the place is clean and well maintained. The bedroom needs it’s own thermostat as we were a little too warm throughout the night. Reasonable rates though and we enjoyed our stay.

Nice place!

Nice place. However would not recommend if you like being able to control the temperature as it is controlled by the upstairs. I am very hot natured and had to go buy a fan to be able to stay there. I messaged the property owner/rental agent and never received a response. I really feel it should be mentioned in the description so one can make an informed decision about booking. Never once entered my mind that I would not be able to control the air.

Pleasantly surprised.

Place was absolutely beautiful and extremely clean. The bed was very, very comfortable. Our only, minor issue was not being able to control the temperature. It is controlled by owner upstairs. Sometimes, it was too warm for us. Fortunately, it was cool out and we could open windows. But for most people this would not be a problem. The place is well worth the money

Super Clean....Not a Cottage

The property is very clean and well kept. The host was very responsive to messages through the VRBO. I do feel that the description however is misleading. The space is called "My Romantic Cottage"; however it is in a living space below the owners house. It is not the cottage pictured the the "driveway" picture. There are two properties on site and "Romantic Vista Cottage" is a the stand alone property.
