Great kitchen facilities. Great french patisserie and charcuterie next door, as well as coffee cart. Great bookshop and cinema across the road, supermarket just behind building. Easy walk to lake. Superb position!

Eric’s one night stay in Wanaka

This place made me think I was in rehab. Its very institutional and devoid of any kind of decorative flare to make you feel welcome. The room had nothing except a bed, a useless dresser, and a bare lightbulb over your head. The bathroom and sink were tiny. I don’t mind bare bones hostels but this was not worth the money they are charging. 6/10

Wonderful upscale Hostel/Hotel.

We had a private room with a bathroom. Tje bes was extremely comfortable. We lived being able to cook dinner and breakfast in the large and well stocked communal kitchen. I highly recommend staying here.

Surprisingly very quiet (individual room/bathroom). Well positioned in town, easy access and parking. Clean, renovated (in my corridor at least). Good to split chill out room from tv room. Don’t be rebutted by reception on first floor. A bit sad that over 5 washing machine only 1 was not out of order.

Room was compact, comfortable large bed. Air conditioning in communal areas but not in bedroom, able to borrow a fan from reception. Staff were friendly and helpful.
