Warned me about the wet paint on one doorway, clearly marked⊠but not the wet paint on the next one, which got all over my jacket while I was trying to lug all my cases up the many narrow stairs and tiny corridors.
On booking we made a request for either a ground floor or easy accessible room. We recieved no reply, so we looked through the web site. No where does it say we are unable to accommodate disabled persons.
So i messaged again.
Expedia messaged to say they had accepted our booking & taken payment so we thought our request must be in hand.
How wrong we're we.!
Not only was our room at the back of the hotel, but up lots of tiny stairs & down stairs & up stairs.
We asked to check out but were refused a refund saying they would not refund unless they rebooked the room out. Also blamed expedia for accepting our booking. We were forced
to leave other wise we would have been stuck in the room for three days
