Pros: Checks all the boxes: accurate listing, close to Sugarbush, hot water when you want it, good hosts... no frills, what you need. Master bed seems new and comfortable. Good kitchen, etc. Cons: We had a heating issue... arrived to quite a cold house that took hours to heat up, and no heat working in the upstairs bedrooms when it was 6 degrees outside. so our first night was not fun at all. To the hosts' credit, they were quick to respond and worked on a solution. Mattresses on the bunk bed seems old and squishy, same as the couches in the living room... you sink halfway down to the floor. Could use extra blankets for cold nights. Mostly clean, but there were a couple fur balls around.

An amazing stay! The house was very clean and exactly as described. A peaceful, secluded stay, perfect for relaxing.You won't be disappointed. Colin was very responsive and made the stay easy and pleasant.

A great place to stay for skiing at Sugarbush

We had a great time staying at this house during our Sugarbush skiing trip this February. The place is easy to access and is close to the ski resort. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I highly recommend this rental.

Perfection is an understatement!!!

This gorgeous home was our families first time renting through a rental app, and we were blown away! The location is in a small Vermont town, with mountain and river views to die for! Our family of five, two adults and three kids, were extremely comfortable, giving us more than enough room to sleep and relax .. during down time that is, because theres sooo much exploring to do! Between the rivers, cascades, trails and small town shopping there's so much to do and see! The house was extremely clean and comfy! With everything provided, we were able to pack extremely light and bring our dogs! We have spread the word to our friends and are already planning our next trip through MRVRM! Thank you for such a memorable experience!

Great place

This is my second time at this property and I had such a nice, relaxing stay. It’s very private and I just love the woods right outside the back door. The tv’s are big and the couch and bed are comfy and perfect to come back to after a fun day out and about. Simple and cute!

Peaceful Long Weekend

This home was warm, welcoming, and so peaceful. The area surrounding the property was perfect with the firepit and woods for our older kids to explore. The owners ensured that the stay was perfect, including recommending several cool activities such as exploring Warren Falls. Highly recommend this home.

Nice for a weekend trip

Pros- We enjoyed the quiet of the house and backyard. We were traveling with pets and it was nice to have a place that allowed us to have them. The rental management company was helpful, friendly and quick to respond to messages. Cons - Living room couch was uncomfortable as the leather cushions slipped easily and it was hard to sit on. Bed was VERY soft and upon removing sheets at check out could see the mattress pad was dirty. Bathroom shower curtain was dirty and no bar of soap was available. The kitchen pots/pans were old and stained and there was only a 2inch kitchen sponge to clean them with. I didn't feel like the host maintained/cleaned efficiently enough. The comfort items we are used to in a place were lacking. Not a pro or con, but also to be aware the bedrooms are upstairs and the stairs are very steep. I know this is common for the older homes, but for some it might be a concern. Overall, it was a good place but I'm not sure it was a good fit for us.

House was in a great location and spotless. Downstairs (kitchen, dining area, TV living room were wonderful. Only negatives were the mattress in master bedroom was way too soft (couldn't sleep there) and there were no bureaus in the other bedroom. Both are relatively easy fixes if the owners so choose.

Convenient Comfort

Though not quite central to all the places we wanted to visit when we choose it, the location was better than we thought. All the drives to where we wanted to go were perfect for the convertible. The house was a comfortable stay up off 100 though road noise was still audible.

A Perfect Getaway

Three of us booked this house for a three night stay and we fell in love with the property. Excellent location if you’re looking for things to do outside in any weather, and if you don’t mind a drive to some of the further towns like Burlington, you’ll find there’s never a shortage of restaurants, sights, and shops. Colin was very communicative and prompt, an excellent host- I would recommend this rental to anyone who loves the mountains, peace and quiet.

Perfect, quiet ski retreat

It was just me. It was wonderful to come home after a full day on the mountain to the very simple but comfortable place tucked into the woods. I brought my food from the Warren store and enjoyed the solitude and the very easy proximity to Sugarbush.

Fiddlehead cabin

Cabin was adequate, clean, and fully functional. Security on the house was good, WiFi worked seamless. New TV's are always a challenge, but worked well. Min bed was just OK, mattress was very soft. heat up and down very good. Access to area around the cabin a=was great for us and the dogs. We liked the seclusion of the property, with the woods all around. Access to Sugarbush was good from the cabin, and Waitsville and Warren provided all the needed stores, restaurants. The shower was very hard to adjust for water temp and the tub drain was slow. All in all very enjoyable vacation. Mad River mgmt., provided all needed information in timely fashion.
